Dank cold, sharp wind and frequent rains affect not only our mood, but also our health. It requires special attention and care in the fall, and your skin-including.
Full update
As you know, any cosmetic procedures begin with cleansing. And if in the summer we could not often use peels and scrubs, now is the time to remember them. They will help to renew the skin cells and clean the pores. Proper skin care in the fall requires cleaning the face no more than 2 times a week.
Chemical peeling is one of the most effective. Cosmetic mixtures for it are made on the basis of acids, for example, fruit. Grind 100 g of fresh pineapple, add 1 tbsp. l. oatmeal and honey, apply the mixture to the face for 10-15 minutes. Mechanical peeling is no less effective. We grind the shell of one egg into a crumb in a coffee grinder and combine it with 2 tbsp. l. cosmetic clay. Rub the mixture into the skin in smooth circular movements, leave until completely dry, and then rinse with warm water.
Generous saturation
When we prepare the skin for autumn, it is important that it regularly receives its due portion of useful substances. And here we come to the aid of recipes for a variety of masks. For dry skin, the following option is suitable. Pour boiling water 2 tsp. oat flakes, insist 2 minutes and add 1 tsp. honey and lemon juice. Apply the mask on the face in an even layer for 20 minutes. An apple mask will help oily skin. Rub half of the apple on a grater, pour in the beaten egg white and 1 tsp of potato broth. Leave the mask on your face for 15-20 minutes, then rinse with water and wipe it with an ice cube. The fading skin will be cheered up by a nut mask. Grind 3 walnut kernels into a crumb, combine them with the yolk and ½ tsp olive oil. Rub the mask into the skin of the face and stand for 30 minutes. Any nourishing cream will help to fix the result. To maintain a good shape, it is recommended to make nourishing masks at least once a week.
Regular hydration
Autumn temperature changes draw out precious moisture from the skin, which means that its reserves need to be constantly replenished. To do this, drink at least 2 liters of water every day and make moisturizing masks a couple of times a week.
If you have dry or normal skin, the honey-yolk mask is a real godsend. Rub the raw yolk with 1 tbsp. l. honey until smooth, pour in 1 tbsp. l. almond oil and heat the mixture over the fire. Apply the first layer to the skin and wait until it dries. In the same way, we apply another 4-5 layers. We stand the mask for 10 minutes and wash our face with chamomile infusion. Owners of oily and combination skin should use a milk-apple mask. Grate the apple, pour it 2 tbsp. l. milk and cook until it turns into a mush. The mask is applied to the face with warm water, and after 20 minutes we wash it off with water. It will relieve the skin from peeling and irritation, and at the same time smooth out fine wrinkles.
Strengthening from the inside
One of the features of skin care in autumn is its strengthening. The best helper in this case is a carrot mask for all skin types. Rub the carrots on a grater, mix with corn starch until a thick mush is formed. Apply it to the face in an even layer, leave for 25 minutes, then wash with warm water. By the way, this mask will also do a great job with acne. Another universal recipe is a mask made of medicinal herbs. Mix 1 tbsp of dry chamomile, elderflower and lime blossom, boil for 10 minutes and filter. Combine 1 tablespoon of broth with 1 teaspoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of ground oat flakes. We keep the mask on the face for 20 minutes, wash off the remnants with warm water, and wash with cold water. These masks can be done twice a week. For strengthening, creams with algae or ginseng extract are also suitable. You can also use face wash, shower gels, and soap with sandalwood or rosemary essential oils.
Comprehensive protection
The final element of autumn skin care is protection. A banana mask will protect sensitive and delicate skin. Mix 1 tbsp. l. banana pulp, 1 tsp.olive oil, lemon juice and sour cream. Apply the mask in a thick layer, wait 15-20 minutes and wash it off with warm water. Oily and problematic skin will be pleased with the curd mask. Whisk in a homogeneous mass of 1 tbsp. l. cottage cheese, 1 tsp.kefir, cranberry juice and lemon pulp. Rub the mask into the skin and after 25 minutes remove the remnants with warm water. Apple plus carrot is a striking combination to protect normal and combination skin. Mix 1 tbsp. l. mashed apple and carrot, heat in a water bath. Add 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tsp cottage cheese. We keep the mask on the face for 20 minutes, and then wash with warm water. Do these masks twice a week and do not forget to buy a cream with the inscription “regenerating” or “protective” on the label.
