Autumn Tapas from La Plana and El Grao

La Plana and el Grao prepare their autumn snacks to participate in the gastronomic event par excellence in the city of Castellón

Over several weeks, from October 26 to November 15, the Castellón Flavors Tapas Route, in this new Autumn edition.

will be a total of 45 hospitality establishments those who will participate in the event where 42 of them will compete to raise their lid to the main award and consumer recognition, and 3 of them simply as a tasting.

The elaboration is the main virtue of the format of the contest where it will be essential to use indigenous products of the land and sea, and of course, the obligatory need to present two elaborations of each establishment to the professional jury that will be in charge of evaluating them.

This cast of professionals from the world of gastronomy, who will clarify who is the guarantor of the deserved culinary recognition of the best cover of the contest, will be made up of:

The Route expands and reaches the sea

This Fall edition of The Castellón Flavors Route, have or present as a novelty, the expansion of the geographical area for the route, including a selection of local Degree of Castellón.

There will then be a total of 82 culinary creations suitable for tasting and savoring all the local raw materials and especially the excellent preparation of the local chefs, who have been working intensively and very professionally, to raise the Castellón gastronomy to the place it deserves.

All the participants of the Route will be able to contribute their assessment of the tastings, through the Tapaporte which can be purchased at the event’s participating venues and participate in the grand final gala on November 24, where the jury’s verdict will be announced and the awards will be given to the Contestants and Routers.

Sabores Castellón is an initiative of the communication agency MyComunica to collaborate in the work of dissemination and dissemination of gastronomy and tourism in the Costa de Azahar and acts as organizer of the Event, together with collaborators such as the Provincial Council, through the entity Ruta de Sabor, the Castellón City Council Tourism Department and the local newspaper Mediterranean.
