Autumn bouquet: flowers and vegetables

We need:

• Bell pepper – “traffic light” – red, yellow, orange
• Decorative pumpkins – 4 pcs.
• Red spray roses – 2-3 pcs.
• Hypericum red – 1 pc.
• Asparagus plumosus – 5-6 pcs.
• White anigosanthus – 1 pc.
• White or greenish hydrangea – 1 pc.
• Ruscus italica – 1 pc.
• As well as a wooden cutting board and an oasis floral sponge
• Tools: secateurs, knife

• 1. Cut the peppers lengthwise into two parts, carefully peel the halves from the seeds.
• 2. Soaking the “oasis”. To do this, we lower it into a container of water and wait until it drowns on its own. If you “heat” it with your hands, the material will be impregnated unevenly and dry cavities will remain in it. Cut out small oval pieces from the wet “oasis” and place them in the halves of the peppers. We make three blanks of different colors in this way.

• 3. We compose compositions in “vases” – peppers. To do this, cut off the branches of roses from the bush using a pruner. We insert flowers into the “oasis”, placing a small group. We place several flowers of anigosanthus and a twig of hydrangea nearby. We frame our mini-composition with dark green ruscus leaves – for contrast. We design the other two “peppercorns” in the same way.
• 4. On a cutting board, lay out the tender greens of asparagus so that all the stems look inward, and the fluffy parts are on the sides.

• 5. We place our bouquets on the board, preferably not in one line. We complement the overall composition with small decorative pumpkins.
