Oral contraceptive preparation, consisting of two components: dienogest (a synthetic derivative of progesterone) and ethinylestradiol (a synthetic estrogen).

Indications

Contraception. Treatment of moderate acne in women for whom the use of oral contraceptives is not contraindicated and for whom appropriate topical treatment has failed.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation, current or past venous thrombosis (e.g. deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism), current or past arterial thrombosis (e.g. heart attack, cerebrovascular accident) or past or present symptoms that may be the first sign of thrombosis (e.g. angina and transient cerebral ischemia), severe or multiple risk factors for arterial thrombosis (diabetes mellitus with vascular changes, severe arterial hypertension, severe dyslipidaemia, hereditary or acquired predisposition to venous or arterial thrombosis), smoking, past or present severe liver disease, until liver function parameters have returned to normal, benign or malignant liver tumor with current or history, known or suspected hormone-dependent cancer of the breast or reproductive organs, unexplained vaginal bleeding, focal migraine vol history of neurological problems, pregnancy or suspected pregnancy, period of breastfeeding.

Dosage

Orally.

Take 1 tablet once a day at the same time for 1 days.

Then, for 7 days, no medication is taken, and during this break, withdrawal bleeding occurs. The next pack should be started after the 7-day break, even if the withdrawal bleeding is still ongoing.
