The Main Pharmaceutical Inspector withdrew two series of the drug for the liver, Silimax, from the market in Poland. The reason is the detection of a quality defect.

GIF reported that they must disappear from pharmacies two series of Silimax 70 mg hard capsules.
It is about the series:
- 05022020, expiry date: 01.2023
- 02022020, expiry date: 01.2023
The responsible entity is the Pharmaceutical Labor Cooperative “Filofarm” from Bydgoszcz.
Why is the drug being withdrawn? According to the GIF, the reason is the detection of a quality defect – irregularities in the batch number were found.
«The immediate packaging (container) with the batch number: 05022020 was packed in the outer packaging (unit box) marked with the incorrect batch number, i.e. 2022020. Therefore, the box with the batch number 02022020 may contain a container with the batch number: 02022020 or 05022020 »- we read in the GIF message.
