What do you like most about traveling? Do you want to become a swimming champion? Or are you looking forward to trying all kinds of ice cream? However, on vacation, you need to follow simple rules so that atopy does not interfere with your summer fun.
In the pool
It’s always nice to jump into a refreshing pool and splash in it. But chlorine in water can provoke an exacerbation of atopy. Be sure to shower after every dive.
In the sea
Swimming in the sea and feeling the sand under your feet is a great summer day plan. However, salt water can sting the skin, especially if it has been recently combed. In such a situation, rinse with sea water and apply a little Cicaplast Balm B5. What a relief!
And don’t forget sun protection!
Sunlight in moderate doses is helpful in preventing atopy, but sunscreen must be reapplied every 2 hours to prevent sunburn. There are sunscreens (for example, from the Anthelios series) that are specifically tested for use in atopy. Protection is very important because sunburn is very damaging to diseased skin.
There’s no reason to let atopy stop you from having a great time on vacation. Follow these simple rules and enjoy your vacation all summer long.
