As if a skating rink has moved: what are the real side effects of Sputnik V

In February 2021, the Russian Sputnik V vaccine (aka Gam-COVID-Vac) was included in the top three drugs that received worldwide approval. The product of domestic pharmacology is registered in 26 countries of the world and remains the most popular vaccine in Russia. Before you go for a vaccination, you need to study the list of contraindications for vaccination against coronavirus and familiarize yourself with the side effects of the drug.

It so happens that Internet users speak out about consequences that are not included in the official list of the vaccine manufacturer. It comes to fantasy: some “find” in themselves now the opened third eye, now a terrible disease. In order not to diagnose yourself by Google, we suggest that you familiarize yourself with the side effects of Sputnik V, officially declared, and the effects that are most often described by those vaccinated.

In the instructions to “Sputnik” it is said that most often the body’s reactions to the vaccine develop in a mild to moderate form and usually last 1-2 days after vaccination: on the third day they should pass.

The main side effects described in the instructions include:

  • chills, an increase in body temperature (with an increase to 38 degrees, take “ibuprofen” or “paracetamol”, at 39 degrees, which do not “go astray” for four hours, you must call a doctor);

  • arthralgia (joint pain), myalgia (muscle pain);

  • asthenia (fatigue), general malaise, headache;

  • soreness at the injection site, swelling;

  • pressure increase;

  • runny nose, congestion in the throat.

Less common:

  • nausea;

  • dyspepsia (indigestion);

  • decreased appetite;

  • an increase in regional lymph nodes.

On the Chelyabinsk portal, local residents complained of severe joint aches and headaches after vaccination. “It seems that you have a fever, your body breaks, your head is heavy, it tends to lie down. Paradoxically, during recess I measured my temperature – it turned out to be 35,9, ”said Alexei, a physical education teacher. In most cases, the symptoms of discomfort disappeared within the indicated 1-2 days.

The director of the Bumaga website, Kirill Artemenko, also noticed that all the ailments were gone in two days. A day after vaccination, the temperature rose to 37.1 degrees. “I feel weak, as with a normal mild ARVI. As a strong adult man, I endure everything, of course, tragically, ”said Kirill.

By the way, Maxim Fadeev, who was also vaccinated, shared the same observation. He was inexorably falling into a dream: the producer noticed that it was simply impossible to fight against wild drowsiness, so he decided to give up and wait for the symptom to pass. In a dream.

Another Ural citizen, businessman Joseph, survived the vaccination hard. “After the vaccination, the skin begins to ache, the joints twist, the lower back aches. General lethargy, aches, feeling as if the rink had run over. The hand itself was taken away, ”he complained. For 4-5 days, everything passed, and Joseph’s wife said that he was just dramatizing – she suffered the consequences of the injection much easier, because she decided in advance not to look for terrible symptoms.
