As easy as shelling pears: quick hair styling options based on examples of stars

The legendary Sophia Loren said: “The hairstyle affects the way the day develops, and in the end, life” … But what if there is no time for styling your hair? With a selection of the best photos of celebrities with short, long and medium hair, Woman’s Day shares the secrets of how to quickly and easily replicate their look at home.

Actress Charlize Teron recently got a short haircut to delight those with short hair! The fact is that the actress, appearing at social events, always style her hair perfectly. For example, it is worth adopting her image for one of the latest social events. Moreover, it is not difficult to repeat it yourself. “Dry your hair with a hairdryer, apply a heat protectant to it, and then, using a medium-diameter tong, wind the strands from face to crown,” says Timur Sadykov, art partner of the Redken brand. “Finally, fix the strands with wax or paste.” For a natural casualness, fluff your hair with your hands. That’s all. The hairstyle is ready! “The only thing: this styling should not be repeated for girls with an elongated face”, – warns Timur, – “Otherwise, the face will seem even longer.”

If you wear bangs, look at actress Anne Hathaway’s styling. Also, this hairstyle is suitable for those who, unlike Charlize Theron’s fans, prefer a natural look. It will not be difficult to repeat it at home. “Apply a volumizing agent to damp hair and dry it with a hairdryer, lifting it up at the roots,” advises Timur Sadykov. – Pay special attention to the bangs, direct the air flow towards the face. The final touch – fix the styling with spray or varnish. ”

Alexa Chung and Emily Blunt

The most popular hairstyle this summer – natural shoulder-length curls like it-girl Alexa Chung and actress Emily Blunt – is just as important to style. By the way, hair of medium length, according to stylists, is ideal for thin and damaged hair. Therefore, the styling technique depends on the condition and texture of the curls. For example, if the strands are naturally curly, you will need a spray to create a crisp curl. “Apply this product to wet hair and dry it with a hairdryer, twisting the strands (from the middle of the length) into a tourniquet 3-4 centimeters thick,” says Timur Sadykov. This should give you natural curls. To finish, comb the hair with a round brush and fix the strands with a light-textured spray or varnish.

If, on the contrary, you have straight hair, then Timur Sadykov advises to style it with a hairdryer for brushing. And before you start styling, apply mousse or styling foam to damp curls. If your hair is thin, cosmetic oil will come in handy. Apply it all over your hair, avoiding roots, before or after styling. It will not only protect the hair from negative weather conditions, but also give shine. The main thing is not to overdo it with the amount of this remedy, one or two drops will be enough.

The best styling option for long hair is natural Hollywood curls. Examples include photographs of actresses from the 60s or images of contemporary singer Lana Del Rey. “Apply a heat protectant to damp hair and blow dry without brushing,” says Timur Sabitov. “Then apply mousse or styling foam to dry hair and start curling the strands (away from the face) with tongs or a large diameter iron.” At the very end, make a straight or side parting and fix the curls with varnish. The hairstyle is ready!

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

And the simplest, but at the same time, very popular styling among the stars – straight hair, laid on one side. The hairstyle looks so natural that it doesn’t seem to require any styling products. This is the case if you have thick and intact hair. And if not, you should heed the advice of the stylist. “Apply on wet strands, avoiding the root zone, two or three drops of oil and blow-dry your hair, pulling it out with a large brush,” says Timur Sabitov. At the end, you can apply a couple more drops of oil to the ends. Then the hair will shine like the model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley).
