Technology is constantly improving, and it is increasingly possible to hear fears that robots will soon replace people. Movies already show love stories between humans and artificial intelligence. But can this happen in reality? To answer this question, the authors of one of the YouTube channels conducted an unusual experiment.
The makers of Perfect Person, in which a contestant or contestant blindly chooses one of three applicants to go on a date with, have made an unusual release.
A girl named Kat had to choose between 26-year-old Jesse, 24-year-old Ashton, and … Al Bot artificial intelligence installed on a regular laptop. All the necessary data about Kat, as well as about her tastes, hobbies and interests, was preloaded into the bot.
According to the conditions, the girl had to ask the guys questions and, based on their answers, decide with whom she would like to continue communicating in private. Kat did not see the applicants and did not hear their voices – they were disguised with the help of the program. And because Kat did not even guess that one of the candidates was a bot.
The heroine of the show immediately admitted that she was looking for the perfect man and was serious – she wants to get married. According to her, she had the experience of a long relationship, and now she knows exactly what she wants from her future chosen one.
Kat asked each of the applicants several questions
So, she asked how they take care of their mental health and what they do when they need to regain peace of mind. Jesse replied that ponds and swimming helped him, while Ashton said that he enjoyed hiking in the woods and hiking.
In turn, the participant of the program asked the bot how he manages to stay active, and received a strange answer. “I go to the gym, put on sweatpants, and experience life in an unconventional way,” the AI said.
Then Kat asked a more poignant question: what genres of porn do guys like. Jessie and Ashton hesitated and tried to avoid answering, but the AI Bot was not at all embarrassed. Suburban moms, he said.
Already after the first two rounds, the girl noted that the first two candidates interested her, but the third, who was actually a bot, caused a lot of doubts. The third round of questions became decisive.
In it, Kat asked Jesse to talk about his friends and asked if they would like her.
The girl asked Ashton about his favorite animal. And the bot got the question of what qualities make him a good friend. “I’m not perfect, but I was able to earn my father’s trust,” he replied.
Before making the final choice, Kat shared her thoughts about all the participants. Jessie seemed funny to her, and the character of AI Bot even reminded her of herself. However, the girl explained that she was looking for someone more sociable. Therefore, her final choice fell on the second candidate – Ashton.
After the decision was made, Kat and Ashton were able to see each other. They exchanged compliments, and then the girl was shown two other candidates. She was shocked when she realized that the third “groom” was artificial intelligence.
“Indeed, some of his answers were somewhat strange. I thought he was a rather clumsy guy, ”said Kat.
Perhaps soon we will really be friends or even start a romantic relationship with bots. But for now, this will probably remain a movie plot …
