Arthryl – composition and action

Arthryl is a preparation that has a positive effect on cartilage, thanks to which it helps to alleviate the symptoms of osteoarthritis. The active substance used in its production is glucosamine – an amino sugar that occurs naturally in the human body. Glucosamine co-creates molecules of glycosaminoglycans, i.e. compounds that together with proteins form the so-called proteoglycans – an extremely important component of connective tissue, also the basic substance of cartilage. Glucosamine can stimulate the process of glycosaminoglycan and proteoglycan biosynthesis, which in turn can have a beneficial and protective effect on cartilage. Composed of leku Arthryl there is also an auxiliary substance – lidocaine.

Lek Arthryl it is used to treat the symptoms of mild to moderate osteoarthritis of the knee in patients for whom oral glucosamine is contraindicated.

Arthryl – dosage
