Then put the crushed fruit into the pot with the rest of the ingredients. Cook everything for about 30 minutes and then strain it. After this time, rinse the chokeberry and pour a measured amount of water. Then cook for about 10 minutes, until the fruit releases the juice. After this time, drain the water from the chokeberry and (optional) cherry leaves and add sugar. Now, in turn, cook everything until it dissolves, and then set the tincture aside to cool.

After cooling down, add the spirit and lemon juice. At the end, the whole thing must be poured into bottles through gauze and set aside in a shaded place. The tincture will be ready for consumption after about half a year. It is worth drinking a tincture ready in this way in small amounts from time to time in order to strengthen the body’s immunity.

It is worth adding that chokeberry fruits can also be eaten just like that, and if someone does not like their tart taste, they can be frozen in a freezer for 48 hours and, like sloe fruits, they will lose their tartness.
