Aromatic oils and their effects on humans
Behind the New Year’s bustle, burning a piece of paper with a wish made for the coming year … Is everything working out? If your plans do not change from year to year: you are still waiting for a meeting with the man of your dreams, extraordinary good luck in business or perfect reflection in the mirror – you can change the means for their implementation. And turn to the power of the fragrance that appeared on our planet long before man appeared.
Woman’s Day went to Irina Biryukova, an aromatherapist with 16 years of experience, for information and asked her a question that worries hundreds of women: how to find your man with the help of a scent, lure luck to yourself, or even lose weight?
“No way. If you are hoping for the power of eau de parfum from an appropriate supermarket or the effectiveness of essential oils from a pharmacy with an average price tag of 300-500 rubles. The result, which according to legend, with the help of aromas, was achieved by the goddess Hera (she got Zeus as the chosen one) or Cleopatra (with the help of the scent of lavender conquered Julius Caesar and Mark Antony), can be achieved if you use 100% natural essential oils. There are few real natural oils on sale, since only natural raw materials are needed to make them – you have to wait for new flowers, trees, and shrubs to grow. The shelf life of a natural product is short, and the price is higher than that of oils offered by the mass market. “
Despite this, the oils are worth looking for and buying. First, they have bactericidal, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effects. Secondly, natural essential oils affect not only a person’s sense of smell, but also on the psyche and physical condition. In other words, the scent gradually changes your character: if you are hot-tempered, harsh, belligerent, the right scent will smooth out all your corners, make you more calm, softer. And vice versa, for modest young ladies some oils add self-confidence and liberate.
Let’s start with aphrodisiacs, the very ones that contain pheromones that induce sex drive. Your scent should not only like or have certain properties, it should suit your partner’s taste. Only in this case will you get the effect.
Natural essential oils are available for men and women.
Ginger, cypress, thyme, cedar, cinnamon, sandalwood, nutmeg are considered to be essential aphrodisiac oils only for the male direction. Essential aphrodisiac oils of the female direction – jasmine, geranium, neroli, rose, ylang-ylang, bitter almond. There is a unisexual group of oils that are equally suitable for men and women: bergamot, juniper, patchouli, rosemary, lavender.
However, before you start using essential oil as bait, you need to go through an aroma diagnosis with a specialist. And it is better for both partners to do it.
The right scent will smooth out all your corners, make you more calm.
“My clients were a mature married couple, in fact, their union needed a second wind. It was decided to escape with the help of aromas. After the diagnosis, it turned out that the husband’s reaction was caused by female smells, symbolizing female youth, – ylang-ylang, orange. The spouse liked the male aromas, which are considered a sign of young men. Therefore, I was not surprised when it turned out that both husband and wife had relationships with young lovers on the side. It was possible to save the family after selecting those oils that attracted each partner. “
When Woman’s Day decided to find those who would tell about their personal experience of aroma eroticism and the miracles that it creates, it turned out that this topic is very personal, even intimate. Nobody wants to talk about victories behind closed doors. However, we still found one real story (the girl’s name and position have been changed. – Approx. Woman’s Day).
Maria N., businesswoman
“I came to aromatherapy with one goal: to build a harmonious relationship with a man I really liked. He was known as a womanizer, so I understood that I must have something more than an attractive and well-groomed appearance and an agreeable character. It turned out to be easy to lure him into aromatherapy diagnostics. He himself asked me to help him choose a cream, and I suggested contacting a professional who would make this cream himself. When I found out what smells he liked, I started wearing them. Regularly. Thoughtfully. Result: we have been together for over 3 years. “
It remains to get an answer to the question of which oil will help in the fight against excess weight – this is clove oil. For the effect to take place, you need to turn to a mentor in the world of aromatherapy, and, of course, you need an honest supplier of real natural oils.
Any fragrance brings good luck, because to experience mutual love, to be healthy and beautiful is the biggest success.

5 reasons to re-read the novel “Perfume” by Patrick Suskind again (especially to read it for the first time)
25 years ago, in the 8th issue of the Foreign Literature magazine, the Russian reader first got acquainted with the legendary novel of the German writer and screenwriter Patrick Suskind – “Perfume”. The novel has lived in Russian for a quarter of a century, and in Russia every self-respecting book lover and student has certainly read this book. However, Woman’s Day counted 5 reasons to reread the beloved “story of one killer” again.
1. All information about fragrances, essential oils and their effect on physiology and human psyche in this work is reliable
This fact is confirmed by professional aromatherapists. Patrick Suskind wrote not just a novel, but a kind of mini-encyclopedia of aromatic properties. And if during the first reading you immersed yourself exclusively in the plot, then the next one can be devoted to knowledge.
2. Impressions from the re-read novel will help to re-evaluate the age in which we live
The book details the disgusting living conditions in which people lived, even royalty in the XNUMXth century in Europe. The stench and lack of sewage in France are described so believably that you start looking at the usual amenities from a completely different angle!
3. The protagonist had a real prototype. And this is discouraging …
Jean Baptiste Grenouille is by no means a fictional character. In real life, a friend who included the corpses of young women and men who died a violent death in the recipe for his fragrances was called Krollius. He was a chemist, about whom the Sorbonne perfumery historian Gehrer tells in his book “The Fragrances of Versailles in the XNUMXth-XNUMXth Centuries”. By the way, the bloodthirsty recipe was well known throughout Europe and was not banned, and its creator was not executed.
4. Rediscover the true feminine beauty
No silicone, tanning beds, hair extensions, eyelashes, nails and plump lips. The ingenious perfumer sees perfection in sun-prone skin, natural hair color, small, neat mouth and innocence. His series of brutal murders ends with the deprivation of the life of the most beautiful, in his opinion, red-haired young girl.
5. Psychologists say: rereading books is useful for self-identification
Especially if several years have passed between the first and second reading. When you read the book again, you see the plot and characters in a slightly different light. That is why re-reading a book means not only refreshing the reader’s memory, but also looking at yourself from the outside. You will understand how your outlook on life has changed and even how much you have grown during the time the book was obediently waiting for you on the shelf.
