“I have an interfering block!” – work with uncertainty is carried out by prof. N.I. Kozlov

Uncertainty is your question? Are you ready to work with it?
To overcome their insecurities and gain their confidence, a person needs to do something with himself. And the majority of those who complain about their insecurity, either do not know how to do something with themselves, or do not want to, in any case, they do not have the ability and habit to work on themselves.
If there is no simple skill, this is the simplest situation — it is not difficult to learn. If a child at one time learned uncertainty, then in any more adult state, confidence can be taught and mastered. It’s a skill just like any other. It’s all about the time and effort you’re willing to put into it. And also — do you know how to work at all, because you have to work on yourself. One way or another, whoever wants to master it will always master it. Everything is possible, everything is real, see «How to work on yourself.»
Much more difficult is the situation when a person inside himself is not ready to seriously change anything in his life. He does not want, he is afraid, he is lazy, one way or another — he is not ready. It is easy to find a lot of excuses and excuses here: “I don’t believe that I will succeed”, “I don’t believe in all these methods” …
Ask yourself the hard question: what are your benefits in your state of insecurity… Does it help you do nothing day after day? Don’t make decisions? Avoid tension, sit quietly in a depressed state, but in front of the TV, and then attract the attention of others by talking about your difficult personal difficulties?
From correspondence
Hello. My name is Victor, I am 33 years old. I stumbled upon your site by accident and it took me by surprise! It so happened that I myself never chose the path in my life. I was not looking for a job, I work in a company with a relative. + problems in personal life (potency). And in this regard, a colossal lack of self-confidence. It’s just catastrophically big. With my mind, I understand that people around me somehow live, not using the word “good”, but satisfied with their lives. And I’m not even close. I DON’T BELIEVE that I can change. I just don’t believe it. I may start doing some ritualistic things like “look at life more positively”, or “concentrate on the positive”, “smile more”, etc. But I don’t believe in it. This is where the problem is.
I came to your site from N. Kozlov’s live journal, he had a wonderful article about feeling insecure. I just saw myself in «inflated self-esteem + victim complex.» But understanding the problem doesn’t make things easier. Can you give me some advice
Response
Victor, whether you believe it or not, nothing will change. Something will change only if you DO or don’t do something. Correct your posture — right here and now — you can. In the morning, do a vigorous jog, take a shower, rub yourself — you can do this too. Start doing at least something — changes will begin in your life.
Will you start?
What to do specifically
To understand whether you are ready or not, how ready you are, write the number of hours — or minutes? — the day you are willing to devote to this work. Have you written?
We are ready to please you: even fifteen minutes a day is enough for the situation to begin to change for the better. More than half an hour. An hour a day — you are a monster and a sorceress, and all paths are open to you. But only — if you really will allocate this time, every day — and do what you need.
