It happens that despite tightening the energy belt, daily exercise and composing healthy meals during the diet, the weight has become constipated and not a twitch. It turns out that four products that you probably have on hand are enough to effectively reduce the effects of weight loss. So what to avoid?

They seem healthy. You have no objections, the more that these products are made on the basis of cereals, vegetables or fruits. We present four of them. If you use them in your daily diet, eliminate them, and you will probably soon observe the effects.

  1. CerealsUnfortunately, contrary to what TV commercials promise us, breakfast cereals are poor in fiber and protein, but contain a lot of sugar. This makes us feel hungry in no time and our blood sugar spikes. An additional snack does not allow us to lose weight, despite other sacrifices. Is it worth reaching for cereals? Since we already like them, let’s try to choose those that contain at least 5 grams of fiber and 2 grams of protein in a measured portion – 3/4 cup. A good solution will also be to create your own muesli based on oat flakes or choose instant buckwheat or millet flakes, which are made only from the grains of these cereals.
  2. SweetenersIn terms of sweeteners, there is a split among scientists’ opinions. Researchers from the Harvard School of Public Health issued the opinion that reaching for drinks sweetened with them allows us to suppress our appetite and lose weight more easily. However, let’s not get too enthusiastic, because data from other sources often contradict this statement. What is the golden mean? We certainly do not have to be afraid of stevia, which is a sweetener of natural origin.
  3. Whole grainsDon’t be fooled by caramel-colored or chemical-packed bread. Misrepresentation is easily exposed by the weight of bread. Let’s choose a heavier one, because then we expose ourselves to less bizarre ingredients. Also, instead of crispbread, let’s try Ezekiel bread, which has a low glycemic index and a high ratio of fiber and protein. The composition of this bread includes several species of cereals and legumes.
  4. Juices, but not allIn the period when we are most willing to lose weight, i.e. in spring and summer, we consume record amounts of them. In general, we do not care about sugar or sucrose, enriched with artificial sweeteners or potassium acesulfame. Day-old or freshly squeezed juices will be most recommended. Specialists believe that one glass of juice a day based on two fruits is enough for us. Due to the high fiber content, you will certainly not feel hungry.
