Modern life is increasingly blurring the traditional idea of the primacy of men in the family. The success of peer relationships is also confirmed by a study by a group of psychologists at the University of Iowa (USA) led by Professor David Vogel.
They invited 72 couples with seven years of marriage experience to discuss several contentious issues of their family relationships in front of video cameras, as well as fill out tests. An analysis of the records showed that in the majority of happy couples, when discussing family problems, it is women who offer solutions to a particular situation, and men agree with them because they trust their wives and do not seek to find out who is in charge. So, contrary to the stereotype, the concession turns into a win for both spouses.
