Are there dietary sauces?

In a slimming diet, there is a recommendation to give up sauces, but only fatty and fatty ones. There is not the slightest reason to eat dry rice, pasta or porridge. Often when losing weight, these carbohydrate supplements disgust us. I had to compromise – I didn’t even want to think that my meals should be crowned with a greasy calorie sauce, but on the other hand, my husband couldn’t imagine eating rice or dry porridge. So I added a few simple, inexpensive and dietary sauces to my recipes. They really are very tasty and interesting.

Which sauces are dietary?

1 yoghurt and garlic sauce

Garlic is a source of allicin, a compound responsible for the characteristic taste and smell. It also has an antibacterial effect and is helpful, for example, in reducing fever. Eating garlic every day reduces the risk of catching a cold by half.

Ingredients:

100 ml of natural yoghurt, 1 clove of garlic, a chopped bunch of fresh dill or dried dill, pepper, salt

Manufacturing method: 

Squeeze the garlic through the press, combine all ingredients and chill. If you add extra finely chopped cucumber, you will get a la Tzatziki sauce. Perfect for potatoes and vegetables.

2. Classic tomato sauce

Basil stimulates and strengthens the heart and supports the work of the stomach, has a diuretic and milk-producing effect, and eliminates flatulence.

Ingredients:

1 carton of sliced ​​tomatoes, fresh or dried basil, 2 tablespoons of rapeseed oil, 1 teaspoon of ground cumin, 1 teaspoon of balsamico, salt, pepper.

Manner of execution

Finely chop the basil, mix all ingredients thoroughly. Bring to a boil, preferably eaten warm. It is universal and goes well with many dishes.

3. Horseradish sauce

Horseradish has an antibacterial and expectorant effect, stimulates the stomach, has an analgesic, anti-rheumatic and diuretic effect, strengthens the immune system and the liver.

Ingredients: 100 ml of natural yoghurt, 1 tablespoon of grated horseradish, 2 teaspoons of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of honey, salt and pepper to taste, 1 teaspoon of oil.

Procedure: Mix all ingredients and heat up as desired. Perfect for meats, groats and potatoes.

4. Tomato sauce with olives

Olives are rich in monounsaturated fatty acids, they protect the circulatory system. Due to the content of antioxidants, they reduce the effects of aging.

Ingredients: 

1 onion, a bunch of parsley, a few green olives, 2 tablespoons of balsamico, 3 tablespoons of oil, and 2 peeled tomatoes.

Manufacturing method:

Scald the tomatoes, remove the skin and chop them into small cubes together with the onion and olives. Shred the parsley, combine all the ingredients. In the warm version, we heat it and blend it as desired. Perfect for meats, groats and rice.

5. diet curry sauce

Curry contains curcumin which is a powerful antioxidant. It also improves digestion, especially of fats.

Ingredients:

100 ml of natural yoghurt, 2 teaspoons of curry, 1 teaspoon of honey, 1 teaspoon of balsamico, 1 clove of garlic, 1 teaspoon of rapeseed oil

Manufacturing method: Mix all ingredients. You can eat both cold and warm. Perfect for chicken.
