More and more people infected with the COVID-19 coronavirus. For this reason, a number of restrictions have been applied to minimize the risk of developing the disease. We can also protect ourselves against infection by taking care not only of personal hygiene, but also of the space around us, thoroughly cleaning flat surfaces. Is this how we get rid of the coronavirus? Can we use antibacterial liquids and cloths for cleaning?
Numerous tests on the COVID-19 coronavirus confirm that it is able to survive on flat surfaces for up to 72 hours. The coronavirus will not remain active on all subjects that long, however. It all depends on the type of surface, temperature and degree of humidity. For this reason, it is so important to clean all tables, countertops and handrails that we most often use.
This mainly applies to the kitchen, which has the most microbes, as well as the bathroom and toilet. We should also disinfect everyday objects: mobile phones, watches, jewelry, corrective glasses.

For cleaning flat surfaces, we can use detergents that are available in stores. You should choose those with a high alcohol concentration (above 60%). Thanks to this, we will effectively deactivate the coronavirus. The same techniques can be used when cleaning car upholstery. In addition to cleaning, we must also not forget about the thorough ventilation of the apartment.
Are antibacterial lotions and wipes effective against the coronavirus? Most fluids that are considered disinfectants will contain 60% ethanol or isopropyl alcohol as well as detergent. This combination will effectively deactivate the coronavirus.

On the other hand, the amount of disinfectant in antibacterial wipes may potentially be too low. This does not mean, however, that they cannot be used during cleaning (e.g. rubbing the dust in places where it collects the most).
In addition to disinfecting the space around us, personal hygiene is also very important. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the coronavirus enters the body through the mouth and nose, which we often touch with our hands (up to 25 times an hour). That is why it is so important to wash your hands with soap and running water. On the other hand, when leaving the house, it is always worth having a disinfectant gel with you, which you will use in the store.

It is also worth getting a protective mask and a few pairs of disposable gloves, which are required in supermarkets and drugstores. In addition, during the period of increased expansion of the coronavirus, we should limit leaving the home to a minimum so as not to get infected from people who may be carriers of COVID-19 or pass it asymptomatically.
If you are looking for a protective mask, we recommend a set of surgical masks (50 pieces) with a disinfecting gel with a capacity of 100 ml available at Medonet Market at an attractive price.
