Spring planting of Papirovka apple-tree

The apple tree is planted in open ground at the end of March or at the beginning of April, when the last frosts recede. For this, it is better to use young, healthy seedlings, not older than a year, since adult plants do not adapt well to new conditions. It is necessary to grow “White filling” in a bright and calm place in the garden.

“Papirovka” is not demanding on the quality of the land, but the best option is loamy soil or black soil. The distance to other apple trees must be at least 6 m.

Landing is as follows:

  1. Clear the selected area of debris and weeds, and then dig a hole about 1 m deep.
  2. Fill the hole with fertilizer. Add humus, superphosphate and potassium to it. Do this 2 weeks before planting the seedlings.
  3. After 14 days, loosen the soil at the bottom of the hole and add water.
  4. Place the seedling carefully in the hole to avoid damaging the roots of the plant.
  5. Cover the root system with earth, compact the top layer and water well.
  6. Mulch the topsoil with straw or humus.
  7. Support the young seedling and tie it up.

These simple steps will not take much time and effort. In the future, it is necessary to periodically water the plant, feed it and cut it off.

Follow the basic rules when planting seedlings and take care of the apple tree. Then, after 3-4 years, tasty and healthy fruits will appear on it.
