- nosematosis – a parasitic disease, the causative agent of which is Nosema;
- rot – a bacterial infection that leads to the extinction of entire hives and quickly spreads to uninfected houses;
- aspergillosis – fungal infection.
Composition, form of release
“Apimax” for bees is an exclusively herbal preparation. All components are obtained naturally. The composition includes such medicinal plants:
- garlic;
- horsetail;
- coniferous trees;
- echinacea;
- sagebrush;
- pepper;
- eucalyptus.
The balm is available in 100 ml bottles. It is a black liquid with a bright aroma of coniferous trees.
Pharmacological properties
It is not only medicinal, but also a prophylactic. The balm increases the immunity of insects, promotes active oviposition of the uterus and the production of milk.

The instructions for use of the Apimax balm for bees indicate that the drug can be used in two ways:
- feeding. In this case, the medicine is mixed with sugar syrup. For 1 bottle of the drug take 10 ml of the excipient. The mixture is added to feeders or empty combs.
- Spraying. To do this, mix 1 bottle of balm and 2 liters of hot water. The cooled mixture is sprayed onto the frame using a dispenser.
Dosage, application rules
The Apimax instructions for bees indicate that for 1 frame you need to take from 30 to 35 ml of balm, if the method of feeding was chosen. When spraying, 20 ml of solution is sufficient.

From nosematosis treatment is carried out 2 times a day. Repeat the procedure after 3 days. To protect the bees from infections, spraying is repeated every 4 days until the symptoms disappear completely.

Shelf life and storage conditions
The shelf life of the drug is 3 years. In order for it to stand for so long and not lose its healing properties, it is necessary to properly store the balm:
- in a dark place, without exposure to sunlight;
- in a dry place;
- at temperatures from 5°C to 25°C;
