Anyuta grapes

Among the many table grape varieties for 10 years, Anyuta grapes have occupied a prominent position. This wonderful hybrid was created by an amateur breeder from the Rostov region V.N. Krainov. Anyuta grapes are the result of crossing two well-known varieties: Radiant Kishmish and Talisman (also called Kesha-1 by winegrowers). The bushes of this grape – powerful and abundantly hung with huge tassels – are the best decoration of the garden of the southern regions of Our Country. Passionate gardeners grow the Anyuta grape variety in the middle climatic zone, but this is associated with great attention to preparing the vine for the winter.

Growing Anyuta grapes will undoubtedly give anyone the greatest aesthetic pleasure, in addition to the magnificent delicate taste. The vine of this variety is also planted by beginner growers, because it has a high survival rate and excellent characteristics in many respects.

Features and distinctive features of the variety

The hybrid variety Anyuta impresses with the delightful rich pink color of large clusters. This is a high-quality transportable grape variety. It ripens in 140 days in the south, as mid-season, and in 145 days in other areas, as mid-late.

Berries

The brush is rather loose, remotely conical in shape, the berries are an ideal oval, they do not fit tightly to each other, which is convenient for consumption. In the stage of full ripening, in addition to intense pink, the color of the berries can be less pronounced. It all depends on the region, soil, growing conditions. Ideally, there are clusters up to 1,5 -1,7 kg of weight. The average figure is 700 g – 1,1 kg with a weight of large berries of 10-15 g, a size of 35-25 mm. With proper care, the weight of the berry reaches 20 g. Peasing is not observed.

The peel of the berries is quite dense, it can be eaten with pleasure, but wasps and other insects do not pierce it with a sting. With prolonged rains or excessive watering, the skin of the berries may crack. The grape tastes juicy, the pulp is dense, only when stored for a long time or on a bush, or plucked, can it become watery and slimy. Sugar accumulates well. A comparative disadvantage of the variety with high taste qualities is the presence of 3-4 seeds. The taste of Anyuta grapes in the descriptions is served as nutmeg, but light, rather harmonious, which again depends on the ripening conditions.

Interesting! Grapes are the best dessert for everyone who studies, because their berries contain a lot of glucose and fructose, which are necessary for the normal functioning of the brain.

Bush

The Anyuta grape vine is powerful, easily reaching three meters. The flowers of the variety are bisexual, the bush is self-pollinated. Productivity is very high, it is possible to overload the vine, so the bush must be rationed – remove excess ovaries. It bears fruit in the fourth or fifth year, is characterized by good rooting and compatibility with rootstocks. This grape variety requires a large nutrient area. Resistant to mildew and oidium – by 3,0 – 3,5 points.

Anyuta grapes have excellent adaptability to moderate climate conditions. Berries ripen everywhere. For the winter, the vines must be bent down and covered, they endure frosts down to -22-23 degrees.

How to grow a new vine bush

For the Anyuta grape variety, there is almost no difference whether it is grown by grafting or planting cuttings. In the first case, fruiting occurs faster, and the bush is more hardy. There is an axiom: grapes planted from the south develop more magnificently and bear fruit more abundantly. The vine does not like drafts. In the central regions, it is convenient to plant vines under the protection of the building, on the sunny side, retreating 70-90 cm. Proximity to the building will also give the owners of the vine the refined aroma of its nondescript flowers, which covers the surrounding space with an invisible fragrant veil.

Landing

Anyuta grape cuttings are planted both in autumn and in spring.

  • Autumn terms suggest reliable shelter of cuttings for the winter;
  • Spring planting gives confidence in the good rooting of the grape bush;
  • The site is carefully dug up, humus, phosphorus-potassium fertilizers are added to the bottom of the hole;
  • If the groundwater is shallow, the bottom is laid out with rubble, and then – organic matter, compost and fertile soil;
  • When planting in the spring, cuttings can be treated with iron sulphate. Vegetation is delayed, and the roots develop and callus is formed.

Rootstock cuttings

For propagation of Anyuta grapes, you can use stems of any variety. The root is watered, the place of the rootstock is cleaned, recesses are made for wedge-shaped cuttings. Having inserted the cutting, it is tightly wound, the top is waxed. The grafting site is treated with clay so that moisture is retained and air can enter.

Vine Care

Anyuta grapes, as well as for other varieties of vines, need care. Since the vine is vigorous, special attention should be paid to its formation.

  • Watering is required, not excessive, especially during the ripening period, because the skin of the berries can burst;
  • After watering, the ground is mulched to retain moisture. Aged, dark-colored, sawdust, moss, humus are best suited;
  • With the beginning of growth, the Anyuta grape vine is formed, the strongest shoots are selected, and they are strengthened on the trellis. The remaining stepchildren are removed;
  • Extra ovaries must be removed, because under the weight of the bunches the vine will break off;
  • Vines that have become lignified over the summer are pruned after collecting clusters, counting 8-10 buds. This is how the quality of the future harvest of Anyuta grapes is laid;
  • Before the onset of cold weather, the vine is bent down and covered, young stocks are sprinkled near the roots with sand, keeping it from scattering with improvised material: plywood, boards;
  • In the spring, the vine needs to be raised in time, carefully inspect the branches, remove the damaged ones and those where there are signs of the disease.

Anyuta grapes

Preventive spraying

The vine is treated with iron and copper sulfate or new preparations.

Important! Treatment with iron sulphate is contraindicated in bushes where there are leaves. They will get burned.

Anyuta grapes have a high resistance to the most common diseases of the cultivated vine – mildew and oidium. But for prevention, the bush must be sprayed with fungicides, which are offered in a wide range by the distribution network. All substances should be used in strict accordance with the attached instructions.

It is desirable to have promising breeding varieties of grapes for everyone on their site.

Once in the fall, I took cuttings of the Anyuta grape variety. And I didn’t regret it, although I didn’t really hope, because I bought them last on the market, the good ones were sorted out. All of the four cuttings rooted. In the spring, they began to awaken together, buds developed, leaves went, the vine quickly gained in growth. Compared to other varieties, Anyuta grapes are indeed very viable.

Our family is delighted with two large vines of this variety, hung with voluminous clusters. Every September is a sumptuous feast of gorgeous berries. The grandchildren love to eat them. Berries are sweet, beautiful in appearance. I consider the Anyuta grape variety to be one of the best table hybrids.

Anyuta grapes always help us out: a very good market variety. We calmly deliver to Novorossiysk, the berries are whole, they retain their marketable appearance and for several days while we trade. Buyers willingly take, because how not to be tempted by such beauty – pink, large clusters, berries – a feast for the eyes!
