Animal quarantine: 30 photos of pets in masks

Scientists have proven that pets can also contract the coronavirus. Therefore, for the company you can dress up your beloved cat in a mask.

It turns out that not only people are threatened by the infection of the XXI century. Pets can also get sick, and cats are at greater risk of contracting coronavirus than dogs. They should “thank” the owners for this: the animals themselves cannot infect humans, according to available data, but the owner may well reward the pet with an infection.

“The World Health Organization has reported that several dogs, cats, tigers have been infected with COVID-19 after close contact with infected people. This happened in Belgium, in Hong Kong, in the USA, ”said the deputy head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Konstantin Savenkov to the information center for monitoring the situation with coronavirus.

According to the specialist, the virus can be transmitted from animal to animal. And in order to avoid such a threat, you need to follow reasonable rules of hygiene: wash your hands, do not touch your pet with dirty hands, and after stroking your pet, wash your hands again. And, of course, wash the paws of the dogs after walking down the street.

However, people are ready to protect their pets with all their might. They even sew and knit masks for them. It is unlikely, of course, that such a device makes sense, and a self-respecting cat will not walk in a mask longer than is necessary for a photo on Instagram.

In addition, facial hair greatly reduces the effectiveness of the mask. And animals with fur on their faces are all right. Dogs are ready to put up with the mask a little longer, because they get used to muzzles. Therefore, in the West, they have already invented special dog respirators, adapted to the shape of a dog’s face. No sense with him, maybe not, but the owner is so calmer.

Well, we have collected the most responsible pets who are even ready to wear a mask, just to survive the pandemic. Scroll through the photo gallery!
