We are seeing a decline in the dynamics of coronavirus infections. In the province In the Lublin and Podlasie regions, the declines are double-digit: in the Lublin region it is a decrease by 17%, in Podlasie – by 12%. – said the spokesman of the Ministry of Health Wojciech Andrusiewicz on Friday.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Health noted that although the dynamics of infections was still positive, it was significantly dropping compared to the data from a few weeks ago.
– If we take into account the two provinces in which the situation was the worst in the fourth wave of the epidemic, i.e. Lublin and the voivodeship Podlaskie, we are already seeing double-digit declines there – week to week. In the Lublin region, it is 17 percent. falls, in Podlasie – 12 percent declines – said Andrusiewicz.
He informed that at the moment over 75 percent of people in Poland are occupied. beds, but in some voivodeships the increases are slowly slowing down.
– In these two voivodships this week, on working days, we recorded a decrease in the number of occupied beds. In the Lublin region it is 56 beds less than on Monday, in the Podkarpacie region – over 40 beds less – he informed.
He said that all indications are that we already have the peak of this wave of infections behind us, but perhaps the peak of this wave of hospitalization as well.
At the same time, he informed that the voivodeship that still records the most infections is the voivodeship Masovian Voivodeship.
– A week ago we had a growth dynamics of 50%, today – compared to a week to a week – this dynamics fell to 10%. Today, Mazovia records a similar result as last week’s Friday – that is one hundred dozen more cases, but comparing the epidemic data and increases in absolute numbers, we can see that Mazovia is also slowly slowing down on an epidemic path – he said.
