The final of the national contest “Miss Russia – 16” will take place on April 2016. Yaroslavl is represented by Anastasia Polkhova in this prestigious competition of beauties.
Despite the busy schedule of preparations for the final of the competition, Anastasia found time to talk to Woman’s day journalists and answer questions of interest to all fellow countrymen who will root for the Yaroslavl beauty.
“I got to the casting at the invitation of the organizers of the competition, who accidentally found me on social networks. Since I am professionally engaged in modeling, I had vivid photographs in my portfolio, attracting the attention of the competition management to my external data. I was invited in previous years, but for personal reasons I did not see myself as a participant in the competition. This year I nevertheless decided to try my hand and, I must say, I do not regret my choice. The casting itself took place in three stages at different intervals in time. I was worried before every casting, but I believed that I could go further. “
“By nature I am a perfectionist and very demanding of myself, so it is very important for me to give my best. The competitive basis requires a lot of dedication and a lot of work on oneself. I think today I am ready to fight for the crown and represent Yaroslavl with dignity ”.
“I was born and raised in Yaroslavl, my whole family is here, but at the age of 20 I left to study in Moscow – I was driven by my ambitions, although the first two years I studied at the budget department at the Yaroslavl State University of PG Demidova. I am a psychologist by education. But I plan to seriously engage in therapy a little later – when I get older. And now, in the mainstream of the modeling business, I devote my time to sports and proper nutrition. “
“My whole family and close friends are rooting for me, but I also feel the support of unfamiliar people who write me kind words and wish me victory.”
