Anaplastic lymphoma – symptoms, diagnosis, treatment

Syn.: Primary cutaneous anaplastic large cell lymphoma – C-ALCL.

Def .: Large-cell lymphoma of pleomorphic T cells with CD30 + antigen primary cutaneous or primary nodal.

Epid .: It concerns adults.

Clinical: A single red tumor or a dozen or so tumors or infiltrates without disintegration or with ulceration, sometimes the tumors resolve spontaneously.

Hist .: Pleomorphic / anaplastic tumor tissue, large cells with horseshoe-shaped nuclei, sometimes multinuclear cells similar to Reed-Sternberg cells.

DL: Hist.-Pat.

DI: CD30 + marker in tumors, loss of pan-T marker in tumor cells.

DR: Primary cutaneous lymphomas type B.

Year: Good 5-year survival of approx. 80%.

Heal: X-rays.
