Anal eczema – etiology, course, treatment

Def .: The identification of this disease entity results from the specific localization of the disease and resistance to treatment. It is eczema, most often allergic or irritated, affects the perianal area, it occurs in people with haemorrhoidal ailments, inflammatory bowel diseases, parasitic diseases.

Etiol .: Diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, parasitic diseases, insufficient hygiene, allergy to components of cleaning agents, pharmaceutical preparations applied topically or orally.

Pat: The lesions are irritant or allergic eczema, as well as atopic or seborrheic eczema.

Loc .: The area of ​​the skin around the anus.

Clinical: The disease is acute, relapsing, with redness and exudation (edema, oozing, erosions) or chronic, long-term skin reddening and symptoms of lichen. Skin fissures are common. The lesions are accompanied by severe, persistent itching.

Hist .: As in skin eczema.

DL: Search for the root causes of dermatitis (e.g. parasites).

DI: Epidermal tests when allergic etiology is suspected.

DR: Thrush.

Healing: Removal or treatment of the primary predisposing factors that caused inflammation, topical creams or ointments with the addition of corticosteroids.
