an unusual story from the ordinary life of people

😉 Greetings, story lovers! Dumb love is a story about how a deaf and dumb guy fell in love with a married woman. What came of this?

Deaf-mute love

Once upon a time there was a deaf-and-dumb guy named Victor in one village. They lived together with their mother. The guy was handsome, strong and distinguished by a cheerful disposition and kindness. He had light blond hair and sky blue eyes.

He was twenty-five at the time. He worked at a factory, had tremendous strength – he threw hundred-kilogram bags like pebbles. And he was very fond of female society.

When he saw a young girl, he blushed, smiled, sent her air kisses. And when she came closer, he tried to hug or touch. The husbands of the married ladies looked at it calmly. Who is jealous of this? Moreover, Victor always helped everyone and never refused to help: to whom to unload coal or bricks, to whom to drag bags.

On the eve of March 8, the guy went to the forest, picked up a basket of snowdrops and came with her to a local club, where a disco was held on the occasion of the celebration. He gave each girl a small bouquet, hugged and kissed on the cheek. It is not hard to guess that he was not married, although, if not for his illness, anyone would have gone for him.

A lot of reeds grew on the bank of the river, which the locals mowed all summer and all autumn for household needs. And on the opposite bank across the river, there lived a childless married couple. Mitrofan’s husband is a rude and unfriendly silent man of indeterminate age.

His wife, Anna, even taking into account the difficult village life of those years, was a slender and beautiful woman with burning black eyes and the same hair.

And once the villagers were mowing the reeds, each from his side. And it so happened that Victor and Anna found their love there. The reeds of their meeting hid for a long time. Passionate and silent love was born here. Anna blossomed noticeably and after five years of childless life gave birth to a boy.

Mitrofan reacted coolly to this, as, incidentally, treated everything. Even when the child looked at him with piercing blue eyes, he did not react in any way.

Four sons

Everyone in the village understood perfectly well who the father was, but neither Victor nor Anna was condemned. But Vitya changed, became serious, no longer looked at other women. Only for a long time he sat on the threshold in the evenings and looked at the opposite bank. A year later, Anna gave birth to a second blue-eyed boy.

The young father was hired for the summer in felling, worked like an ox, and when all emaciated returned home, he bought his beloved an expensive coat, fashionable boots and a cow. So in six years the woman gave birth to four sons to Victor. Silent love bore fruit.

Every year the man was hired for hard work, but his children were always shod and dressed. After the appearance of her second child, Anna’s husband disappeared somewhere – they said he had left for another city. Victor’s children grew up obedient and hardworking, all alike.

They loved their father very much, although they lived on the opposite bank. When the eldest went to school, Victor put on a jacket, tie and dress pants and proudly stood on the line with his other parents.

As time went on, Victor was already 35 years old, and his mistress was two years younger. Children grew up, studied, a caring father took them from school in the evenings. On the way home, I always bought them sweets, pies or bread, and looked at my beloved Annushka as an ideal. The woman blossomed and prettier before our eyes.

Daughter

Several more years passed and it turned out that Anna was pregnant again. By the fall, she gave birth to a little skinny black-haired girl. Until the end of winter, the woman was afraid to show her lover how she felt that something was wrong. But in the spring I gathered up my courage and went to Victor.

He rushed to the child, wrapped in swaddling clothes, smiling happily: the daughter was born! But suddenly his face changed, growled and jumped back in rage, his eyes were bloodshot, he put the bundle with the child aside and began to beat Anna. Has changed, not otherwise!

How could such a strong man kill her in his wild anger? The neighbors came running to cry. The angry Victor was somehow dragged away, and after that he disappeared somewhere for a long time. Anna, all beaten, was brought home, and the girl was temporarily left with a neighbor.

In a serious condition, Anyuta was in the hospital for two weeks. Everyone in the village understood that she could not change in any way – after all, everything is in plain sight, this is not a city for you where the life of neighbors is indifferent. But Victor did not understand this.

At the end of the summer, the man reappeared in the village, took his sons, took them to the store and bought everything for the school.

Years have passed. Victor still took care of his sons, raised them, loved them, and so did they. When the elder was drafted into the army, his father was present at the oath in full dress, was incredibly proud, tears rolled down his cheeks. They never saw Anna again: she walked around his house a kilometer away, and Victor did not look for meetings with her.

The girl Nastya grew up thin, black, all like a mother. Victor often saw her with her brothers, but did not react in any way.

Native blood

Once in the summer, the children were swimming in the river, fooling around. The brothers did not look, and Nastya began to drown. A lifeless thin body was pulled out of the water. As usual, all the neighbors came running to the cry. Some of the boys also called Victor.

When he arrived, the girl had already been brought to her senses. She was in only her bathing trunks, trembling. As soon as he saw her, a joyful cry escaped from the man’s chest. He tore at his shirt and raised his hand up: right from the shoulder to the very waist, he had a birthmark in the form of a comma.

On the girl’s body, exactly the same spot stretched from the shoulder to the lower back. The father carefully took his daughter in his arms and, mumbling something softly, accompanied by the children, ran home. He went into the house, wrapped her in a blanket, and walked around the room, shaking and kissing his daughter.

Anna came running from the other side, crying. Neighbors who had a chance to look out the window saw the following picture there: Victor was kneeling in front of Anna, hugging and kissing the bare feet of a tired, exhausted woman. He knocked himself on the head, banged on the floor, and the people in the yard were silently crying, looking at all this and did not want to leave.
