Amindoral is a supplement used:
- in dietary management to restore water and electrolyte balance,
- to reduce the risk of dehydration caused by vomiting
- to modify the state of ketoacidosis.
Dosage
Aminodral is in the form of a powder for the preparation of an oral fluid. The supplement should be used individually depending on dehydration. The preparation should be administered in small portions.
- Adults and children after 3 years of age: dissolve the contents of the sachet in 100-150 ml of lukewarm water, 1 sachet 3 times a day.
Aminodral and contraindications
Contraindications to the use of Aminodral are:
- hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation,
- fenyloketonuria,
- parenteral use.
Aminodral – warnings
- The supplement should be used under the supervision of a doctor.
- Do not give the preparation to children under 3 years of age.
- Patients with nayphenylketonuria should not take the supplement because it contains the sweetener acesulfame K, which is a source of phenylalanine.
- The product has traces of peanuts, which may lead to an allergic reaction in allergic people.
- Do not exceed the recommended dose of the supplement.
- Aminodral should not be treated as a substitute for a varied diet.
- Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before using the supplement.
