When friends come to visit Hannah Isted, they can only admire what they see, because the girl’s house looks incredibly elegant. Beautiful furniture, unusual interior. Few people know that all these things went to the American for almost nothing.
A few years ago, Hannah bought her dream home, located in a quiet and cozy place – the town of Barrie, South Wales. However, Hannah had to shell out almost all of her savings for the mansion, and therefore a minimum of funds remained for repairs and improvements. And she really wanted to remake this house, since the previous owner was her grandfather, who heavily cluttered the space.
Isted began her makeover by dumping all the belongings of the former owner of the house in a landfill. However, while she was doing this, the girl’s attention was attracted by a bathtub, which was scrapped by someone. Hanna found it interesting. The American took her home, spending a penny to paint it.
After that, Isted began to frequent the dump. Thus, an antique mirror appeared in her house, which the woman was going to throw away as unnecessary, a Victorian-style bed with metal legs and a black and white rug.
“I started to frequently comb the roadside in search of discarded items. People do not need them, and I really come in handy. I don’t see anything wrong with taking them home, ”Hannah wrote on her personal blog, posting footage of the renovated interior.
Thus, the American made repairs at home, spending only 500 rubles on paint and other minimal materials in order to give the selected things a second life.
When guests visit Hannah’s house, they admire her vintage interior design innovations. After that, the girl, who had worked as a social media manager all her life, began to seriously think about mastering a new profession in the field of design.
