Amber Kellerbier (Amber Kellerbier)

Young beer that has not been filtered and pasteurized. Not stored for a long time, so you can only try it directly in the brewery or pub, “from the tap.” Previously, it was often brewed for local festivals, poured directly from the barrels where it was aged.

Taste, color and aroma depend on the manufacturer. General features: spicy hop notes, freshness, lightness. It has a rich malty taste with bready notes, occasionally green apple tones are found, but sweet nuances (biscuit, caramel) are a sign of a violation of technology.

Amber Kellerbeer is both transparent and moderately hazy, ranging in color from clear gold to deep chestnut. Doesn’t foam much. In the mouth, at first it feels sweetish, but the finish is always dry, with bitterness.

It is always made from local raw materials, in the most budgetary ways – without decoction mashing, etc. This is a local drinkable beer to refresh in the heat and serve on holidays. Often based on Munich Helles or Märzen, these styles are simply not filtered or pasteurized.
