– give preference to plants at least 2 years old; – do not water the aloe for two weeks before harvesting; – put it in a dark place in 3 days; – remove only the lowest leaves at least 15 cm long; – leave the harvested leaves for 24–48 hours in the refrigerator in the zero zone (freshness zone).

How to Recycle Aloe Leaves
The leaves can be stored at home in the refrigerator for a long time without losing their beneficial properties. If the need arises, it is enough to chop a few leaves with a knife, meat grinder or blender. Apply the resulting gruel to the site of inflammation.
To gargle with sore throat, mix 50 grams of crushed leaves and a glass of mineral water without gas in a mixer. Use to rinse the mouth.
At elevated temperatures, you can prepare a mixture of aloe and honey. Take a tablespoon of honey and 1 grams of boiling water on 100 sheet. During the day, this mixture should be drunk by a teaspoon. If you add ghee here, you get an excellent cough remedy.
If you need to treat the throat of a small child, wrap a bandage around the index finger in several layers, moisten it in the prepared solution and gently wipe the palate and root of the tongue
Making aloe juice for future use
If you want to prepare aloe juice, put the resulting gruel on a sieve or cheesecloth and wait until the liquid drains into the vessel, pressing the mass from time to time. Next, mix the juice with vodka in a 4×1 ratio, pour it into a clean dish, close it and put it in the refrigerator, where it will be stored for a very long time. Keep in mind that the alcohol solution should not be given to children, so always keep aloe leaves in the refrigerator, from which you can squeeze out life-giving drops at any time.
An alcohol compress will be a great help for bronchitis to warm up the throat. To do this, mix aloe juice, honey and vodka in a 1x2x3 ratio. Pour into a bottle and close with a plastic stopper. Store the mixture tightly sealed in a cool place. To make a warming compress, it is enough to wet the cloth and apply it to the throat.
