All the secrets of buckwheat milk porridge
 

Buckwheat porridge is very useful for children, it can be called an ideal product for a children’s table, and all this is due to some of the properties of this cereal:

– firstly, it is nutritious,

– secondly, gluten-free,

– thirdly, it is easily absorbed and does not cause allergies.

 

That is why, it is recommended to start feeding children with it. To maximize the benefits of buckwheat porridge, choose not fried buckwheat, that is, raw. It has a greenish brown color and is much lighter than fried. But, even if you buy fried buckwheat, try to keep it light, not overcooked. Also, pay attention to the country of the buckwheat producer – our country buckwheat and buckwheat grown in post-Soviet countries are much better in quality and taste than buckwheat from China.

  • When preparing milk porridge, it is recommended to first boil it in water, and then add milk. This is how the beneficial properties of both buckwheat and milk are preserved.
  • To prepare buckwheat milk porridge, take two glasses of water for one glass of cereal. When the cereal is cooked, add 2 cups of milk to it and bring the porridge to a boil.
  • It is better to add butter to the porridge already poured on plates, since heat treatment also negatively affects the nutrients in butter.
  • To make the porridge tastier and sweeter, it is better to add honey or berries to it instead of sugar.
