The method proposed by Hasai Aliyev, which helps to manage one’s psychophysical state. The essence of the technique is extremely simple and is expressed by the phrase — «find your movement.» To change your own state, you do not need any special conditions or equipment, or anyone else’s help.

What does the technique look like in practice?

Aliyev says: “Try to perform the movement not with the strength of the muscles, but with the strength of your desire.” For example, he suggests slowly raising your hands. But at the same time he explains: “You don’t need to strain your muscles for this, but you just need to want your hands to do it. And do not worry, they will definitely go up if this movement is yours. But they will do it, albeit at your will, but as if by themselves, automatically.

If, after several attempts, the arms still do not go up, you can try another movement. It does not work — the third. Absolutely everyone finds their movement. And no one has ever needed more than three attempts to do this.

This particular movement, found by everyone for himself, is the «Key» that creates a connection between the mind and the body.

How the Key works

These movements are special, semi-automatic. They are akin to what people themselves instinctively do in a state of excitement or tension. Someone in agitation begins to walk, someone swings his leg, taps his fingers, sways his whole body. Children often sway in chairs. Because the brain makes us and our children do these unconscious automatic movements not by chance — this is how it suggests a way to relieve tension, restore the lost inner balance. But the techniques of the «Key» differ from ordinary nervous movements in that they are carried out in a different — conscious form. Scientifically, these movements are called ideomotor. Having learned to control ideomotor movements, a person acquires the ability to control his condition. In other words, a person deliberately introduces himself into a trance state, in which it becomes possible to control his psychophysiological reactions and processes.

Creation and application of the «Key»

The «Key» was created by Dr. H.M. Aliyev at the Cosmonaut Training Center. Yu.A. Gagarin in 1981. The technique was approved by the USSR Ministry of Health in 1987.

In the electronics industry, Key was used in the 80s to reduce visual fatigue in female microscope operators. This allowed the company to produce higher quality microelements and at the same time maintain the health of workers in conditions of intensive monotonous production.

Employees of a number of law enforcement agencies undergo anti-stress training using the «Key» method. Such training helps those who take part in military operations in the Caucasus. Allows you to be more resilient and efficient, helps to maintain a state of vigor for a long time and very quickly restore strength. «Key» is used in the departments of the FSB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as in the training of civil service leaders, managers, dispatchers, persons of dangerous and creative professions.
