Aksoderm is used for epidermal defects, minor skin lesions and as protection of the skin against the adverse effects of weather conditions (cold, wind), including frostbite and XNUMXst degree burns. The preparation is in the form of an ointment available in pharmacies without a prescription.

Aksoderm – indications and dosage

The axoderm is indicated:

  1. in the defects of the epidermis,
  2. in minor skin lesions,
  3. as protection of the skin against the adverse effects of weather conditions (cold, wind), including frostbite and XNUMXst degree burns.

Dosage of ointments

Lubricate the affected areas with Aksoderm 2–3 × / d.

Aksoderm and contraindications

A contraindication to the use of Aksoderm is hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation.

warnings:

  1. Aksoderm is intended for external use on the skin,
  2. the ointment should not be applied to mucous membranes or open wounds,
  3. there is no information on use in children,
  4. Axoderm contains lanolin, which may cause local skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis).
  5. The use in pregnant women is not recommended due to the lack of data on the safety of its use. Use in this group of women is allowed only after consulting a doctor, when, in the doctor’s opinion, the benefit for the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus,
  6. vitamin A in high doses may have a teratogenic effect (toxic to the fetus),
  7. women during breastfeeding should consult a doctor before using the preparation.

Aksoderm and other substances

Aksoderm ointment should not be used with cosmetics and preparations with a drying or astringent effect.

Aksoderm – side effects

The use of Aksoderm ointment may cause local allergic reactions, local skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis).
