External Description
Fragile, thin cap, at first hemispherical, then almost flat or convex. Slightly wrinkled or smooth skin, slightly sticky. Tall and thin legs. Sufficiently wide and infrequent plates. A little pulp, it is flabby and has a characteristic floury smell. The color of the cap varies from ocher to light brown. At first, the leg is covered with powdery coating, then it becomes shiny and smooth. The color of the plates varies from light yellow to brown-brown.
Edibility
Inedible.
Habitat
It is mainly found in pastures, meadows and clearings overgrown with grass – in mountainous and hilly areas.
Season
Summer autumn.
Similar species
Agrocybe arvalis is inedible.
