The skin is a kind of atlas, according to which you can read how a person eats, how much he works, whether he has enough rest, how old he is, and even – is he happy? But every woman is able to make changes to this atlas herself, and make it her pride. No matter how old she is.
How exactly to act – our expert will tell you.
“The skin is the largest organ of our body, and like all other organs, it, unfortunately, is subject to various changes,” says cosmetologist, dermatovenereologist Ekaterina Kalinina. — Dermatologists and cosmetologists can often notice a skin problem, which will be a signal for concern about other body systems: disorders of the digestive tract, changes in the endocrinological status and the state of the musculoskeletal systems, and even parasitic infestations (infection with parasites – approx. Auth.). But the skin itself is also changing. As a rule, they are associated with the restructuring of the body at a particular age.
When does the day come that you should mark in advance with a circle on the calendar and make an appointment with a beautician in time? In order not to turn overnight from the beautiful Cinderella into the good old Fairy grandmother? We are in a hurry to disappoint fans of specific dates: experts say that skin needs to be taken care of every now and then, from a young age.
– There is no definite figure, which means the need to visit a beautician. There are many reasons to come and consult with a competent specialist at any age, says Ekaterina Kalinina.
Even if you are that lucky woman who always needed only to wash her face to look irresistible, sooner or later the years will make themselves felt. What symptoms of age-related skin changes should you pay attention to, what will be the alarm signal – “it’s time to see a doctor”?
“Change in the clarity of the face oval, flabbiness and atonicity of the skin, uneven complexion, age spots and spider veins, enlarged pores and wrinkles – patients come to doctors with such complaints,” says Dr. Kalinina. – The causes of all these problems lie in physiology. This is a change in the structure of collagen, the ongoing attack of free radicals, glycation, the activity of catabolic enzymes and much more. The doctor will tell you about this, and, of course, will give his recommendations.
Let’s imagine: one not the most beautiful morning you found in yourself – oh, horror! – all the described symptoms: and “asterisks”, and age spots, and the oval of the face is no longer so oval … What should I do?
– Do not panic! First you need to contact a good specialist, undergo computer diagnostics of the skin. This will help to obtain the most accurate objectification of the physiological processes in the skin,” explains Ekaterina Kalinina. – Diagnostics helps to identify key problems, decide on the most effective methods of exposure in this particular case and build a plan for the gradual restoration of skin tone.
It is worth noting that modern science has given a huge number of ways to restore the skin to its former beauty. These are various injection and hardware procedures. Each practice – whether it’s microdermabrasion or photorejuvenation – is aimed at solving a specific problem, but the combination of methods will multiply the effect and give a result that you probably never even dreamed of.
“But it is important to remember,” Ekaterina Kalinina continues, “that only half of the success depends on the doctor. The rest of the responsibility will fall on the shoulders of the patient, who will need to learn competently and, most importantly, regularly care for the skin at home.
Agree, it is better to be proactive. Early prevention in the form of balanced skin care will not only prevent aging skin problems in women, but also save you money. Still, medical procedures are not cheap pleasure.
Dr. Kalinina emphasizes that the skin care plan should be selected by the attending physician and consist of a skin cleansing system. Next, point by point:
- Washing with products with acids, preventing the appearance of rashes and hyperkeratosis.
- Leather polishing compositions with nanoparticlesprocessed to prevent skin trauma and solve the problems of relief and uneven tone.
- Serums with antioxidants or fruit acids help fight free radicals, reduce excessive pigmentation and vascular network, and also reactivate the synthesis of collagen fibers and reduce the glycation of existing ones. In other words, they slow down the aging process of the skin.
- Creams with ceramides restore the damaged water-lipid barrier of the skin, restoring its resistance to harmful external influences.
- Sun protection means will help to avoid excessive exposure not only to ultraviolet waves, but even to the “blue” light coming from the screen of the mobile phone.
