After the third birth, my mother lost 40 kg, having breakfast with cheesecakes

During the last pregnancy, the woman gained 102 kilograms, but managed to get herself in great shape.

At 27 years old, weighing more than a centner is, you see, too much. Megan Lockhart also thought so, who simply hated the way she looked after the third birth.

“I ate easily and comfortably to the stage that is called obesity. I still struggle with some of my eating habits, ”the woman says.

The girl was connected with food by a powerful emotional dependence. Like many of us, she seized stress, disappointment, and troubles. During her first pregnancy, she gained 20 kilograms. But she managed to lose weight: “When my son was about six months old, I saw how I looked in the photo and realized that I needed to do something. And not for himself, but for his son. I had a person who needed me. “

Then Megan got pregnant a second time. And everything did not go at all as she had hoped: according to the girl, she felt that something was not right. Her premonitions, unfortunately, came true: daughter Megan was born on the 25th week with serious developmental disorders of the central nervous system and heart. The pathologies were too serious, they could not leave the girl.

And just six weeks after the death of the baby, Megan became pregnant for the third time.

“The third pregnancy was very difficult. I ate a lot – I think I was eating my feelings, my anxiety. But everything went well, a healthy little boy was born, ”says Megan.  

Now I had to put myself in order again. After all, the girl weighed 102 kilos at that time.

Megan began by downloading an app with workouts and recipes, cutting down on the calorie intake of her daily diet and stopping endless snacking on the go. But this does not mean that Megan has completely abandoned the joys of junk food, no. She starts her day with a healthy fruit smoothie with oatmeal, and then it’s time for dessert: usually lemon cheesecake or Three Chocolate cheesecake. In general, something sweet and terribly harmful to the figure. Megan usually drinks all this happiness with coffee. If after that she feels that she is not full, she eats some kind of fruit.

For lunch, the girl prepares something quick, but healthy. Soup, stewed vegetables, homemade Chinese food, sweet and sour chicken and vegetables with rice – all this Megan knows how and loves to cook. And no longer snacks with cookies, but with tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese and nuts.

“Every day I went for long walks, took video lessons in the living room, and sometimes took light boxing lessons,” she says. Training has remained in her life to this day. Plus, she goes jogging three times a week. But the intensity of the classes decreased: after all, in 8 months Megan lost as much as 80 kilograms! You can slow down.

“Now I can eat a little more than when I was losing weight. Several times a week I even pamper myself with ice cream or chocolate, ”she says.

And besides the fact that the girl began to like herself much more in the mirror, her new body turned out to have many advantages: back pain, reflux disappeared, her heart rate improved, and even her skin became better – before Megan suffered from rashes.

“Each of us who wants to lose weight is able to shed all unnecessary things, I am sure of that. You just need to stop looking for excuses for your weight and tell yourself that you deserve to be healthy, – Megan admonishes everyone who is just trying to get on the path of losing weight. – Of course, you will succeed. But you need to take time for yourself – and this is not selfishness. You deserve it. “
