Aflofarm helps pharmacists

Over the next few days, as many as 6000 pharmacies in Poland will be equipped with medical helmets, antibacterial gels, information posters for patients, as well as treatments for damaged hands and sweets. The #aflofarmpostroniefarmaceuty campaign is about to start.

In the era of the prevailing coronavirus pandemic, Aflofarm Farmacja Polska has set out to help the medical services in Poland. Aflofarm in its activities focused mainly on pharmacists, because it is they who stand on the front line in the fight against coronavirus every day, care for the drug safety of Poles.

As part of the #aflofarmpostroniefpharmacist campaign, each of the 6000 pharmacies will receive the necessary means for personal protection against infection: 3 helmets, 3 antibacterial gels, and 3 regenerative gloves in the form of gloves for damaged hands.

In the package, pharmacists will also find information posters for patients visiting the pharmacy. The posters clearly explain how to properly behave in a pharmacy in order to make the necessary purchases safely for yourself and others. Displayed on the entrance site, they will certainly help in the organization of daily work, reminding patients about the basic rules. Guidelines on posters are rules recommended by the Ministry of Health.

We are closely observing what is currently happening in the country and we are fully aware of how much trouble is currently required to work as a pharmacist. Our action is an expression of concern and recognition of their hard work. We will always be on the side of health and pharmacists – says Jacek Furman, president of Aflofarm Farmacja Polska.

Each of the 6000 packages also includes a chocolate box to sweeten the hard time for pharmacists. The gifts should reach pharmacists by the end of this week.

From the very beginning of the pandemic, we have been working hard to improve the health comfort of many millions of Poles, which is why any form of aid that goes to pharmacies and protects pharmacists against infection deserves recognition. This is an important gesture of solidarity, thank you for your support – comments the president of the Supreme Pharmaceutical Council, Elżbieta Piotrowska-Rutkowska.
