In April, the European Medicines Agency confirmed that AstraZeneki could cause thrombosis. She also announced that there was a possible link between thrombosis and the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. It also turned out that thrombosis may occur with thrombocytopenia. Since then, we’ve been analyzing reports and collecting data on thrombosis, thrombocytopenia, and other blood-clotting diseases in people who have received the COVID-19 vaccine.

The analysis of the report available on the gov.pl website shows that from December 27, 2020 to May 31, thrombosis occurred in a total of 64 people. In the past weeks, eight more people have become suspected of having thrombosis. As for gender, thrombosis (or suspected thrombosis) was more common in women – 43 cases. In men, this is a total of 28 cases. Six people died with thrombosis or other clotting problems.

Among the post-vaccination reactions, there were also other diseases related to blood clotting. These are pulmonary embolism (in 5 men, one died and 11 women – including one suspected), pulmonary embolism with thrombosis (in 1 man and 1 woman), pulmonary embolism with thrombosis and thrombocytopenia (in 2 men), arterial embolism ( 2 men and 1 woman), systemic embolism (1 woman), various types of embolism (1 woman), phlebitis (3 women), thrombocytopenia (4 men, including one with thrombosis and 4 women), coagulation problems (in 1 woman, fatal), blood clots (in 1 man, fatal), swollen blood vessels (in 1 woman), embolism (in 1 woman), thrombotic changes (in 1 woman), blood clots (in 1 woman), 1 woman) and cerebral infarction with a blood clot (in XNUMX man).

By May 31, 2021, a total of 19 people had died after receiving the COVID-82 vaccine. They are mostly men (45). 37 women died after vaccination. There were three deaths between May 25 and May 31.

Which vaccine was followed by the most NOPs?

The report available on the website pzh.gov.pl includes tables of adverse post-vaccination reactions, including the manufacturers of the administered preparations. Thus, we learn that:

The report shows the distribution of specific vaccine reactions by producers. We also obtain information about the age of people who were concerned by the NOP data.

After being vaccinated against COVID-19, the following died:

  1. 27 people vaccinated Pfizer. The youngest person was 48 years old, the rest are mostly people aged 70+. In the case of 15 consecutive deaths, there was no cause and effect relationship, but only a temporal relationship
  2. 3 people vaccinated AstraZeneca at the age of 48, 63 and 68. There was no causal relationship for two consecutive deaths
  3. 1 vaccinated person Moderne at the age of 57
