Adulthood and «adulthood»
If you have things that no one else can do, then you are already an adult.
Strange thesis. And there’s nothing you can do about it. As long as there is someone to shift to, there is someone to rely on, and, finally, there is someone to cover up in case of something, then regardless of the real age, childhood plays in a person. You know, a kind of childish recklessness.
Often, adults are accused of excessive concern and lack of looseness and courage. Yes, adults often have a serious face. But after all, when you go through the abyss on a narrow bridge, is it better to refrain from dancing?
Now let’s take a look from the other side. Having things that no one else can do and pretending that you have such things are two different states. But both of these states are definitely similar to adulthood. To be honest, there are not many cases in which a particular person could not be replaced. This is if you look honestly. And in this case, it is not at all necessary to pull on an “adult mask”. But how honorable «to be an adult»! After all, you can easily and effortlessly get rid of a lot of interfering things. To do this, it is enough to refer to the fact that you are “busy”. A busy adult is forgiven such a thing that a reckless child will never be forgiven in their Life.
Adulthood in this aspect resembles a disease, and the disease is severe. After all, as soon as a person gets sick, how dramatically the attitude towards him changes.
An interesting picture is obtained. There are not so many truly adults. Most of the «drives the picture.» What’s there — and really children are not a legion. After all, “mowing for a child” for some time is quite good.
To be and to seem. Back to topic again. To be is easy, but somehow not presentable. It seems more difficult, but how effective! A real adult is an ordinary person who is in no hurry to shift onto the shoulders of another person what he can (as he himself believes, for that he is an adult) do himself. Extremely simple. Without waiting for a request or assistants — takes and does. A “fake” adult will arrange any business in such a way that everyone understands that this business cannot be done without him. To evoke feelings of guilt, to make one feel significant, to refer to wild employment and fatigue — these are some elements of the arsenal of such an “adult”. What did you want? Seems like it’s not an easy job. Remember how the child pretends to be sick? And how does the child really get sick? In the first case — suffering, endless whims and requests. In the second attempt to play, sneak out into the yard and so on.
Transfer this model to adulthood, and it will play one on one.
