This year brings us a great union in the world of food and gastronomy fairs and competitions

The Halls of Alimentaria and Hostelco, which had traditionally been held in the city of Barcelona, ​​join forces and are shown to the general public together, celebrating their next edition the next days from April 16 to 19, 2018.

A macro event that will occupy the entire Gran Via Fairgrounds in Barcelona, ​​giving rise to one of the largest international platforms for the food, gastronomy and hospitality industry.

This union is a nod to the constant requests of the sector that for years have requested a great fair that adds and offers synergies to the product to the channel and to the visitor.

Traditionally Hostelco, known as the International Exhibition of Equipment for Restoration, Hotels and Communities, had been celebrating its annual editions in autumn, and now it is ahead of spring to coincide with the offer and sample of the International Food and Beverages Exhibition, known as Food, which maintain their dates of celebration as in previous editions.

The main objectives of the new joint Fair are to find a great business platform that generates added value to provide participating companies with new business opportunities and international expansion.

The joint project is supported from the institutions by the Spanish Federation of Associations of Manufacturers of Machinery for Hospitality, Communities and Related Industries (Felac), the Spanish Federation of Hotels and Restaurants (Fehr);  the Federation of Food and Beverage Industries (Fiab); o la Spanish Association of Manufacturers and Distributors (Aecoc), among others.

Alimentaria is a must for innovation, the latest trends and the internationalization of the sector, for all participants in the value chain within the food market. alimentación and foodservice.

In this edition, the show increases the participation options for exhibiting companies, dividing its pavilions into specific microferies such as:
