43-year-old actress Naomi Watts, who is currently promoting films with her participation in Dream House and J. Edgar, ”shared her memories of the early departed Australian actor Heath Ledger with readers of America’s More magazine.
Despite the fact that the romance between the actress and the actor lasted less than two years, she remembers them with warmth. “Those were good times,” Watts says. “We had a great relationship, only a couple of years, but he was a bright, joyful person, and our life was full of joy and love.”
“He had some kind of special spirit and had a significant impact on my life,” confesses the star. “A great actor who could do so much more.”
Naomi and Heath met from 2002 to 2004, and four years later, the actor tragically passed away under unclear circumstances. Ledger’s last girlfriend was Gemma Ward. The actor has a daughter, Matilda, whose mother is Michelle Williams. The girl will be six years old this year.
Naomi Watts found her family happiness with actor Liv Schreiber, from whom she has two children.
