The active substance of the drug is pirimifos-methyl, which is often called actellik. It contains phosphorus, sulfur and other elements – the general formula is C11H20N3O3PS. Release form – emulsion concentrate, the content of the active ingredient is 500 g per 1 liter.
The drug is produced in plastic bottles and canisters of different volumes. The manufacturer and registrant is the Swiss company Syngenta, which has a representative office in Moscow.
Principle of operation
Actellik refers to organophosphorus compounds. The active substance disrupts the vital enzyme acetylcholinesterase. As a result, the electrical impulse ceases to flow and be transmitted through neurons (nerve cells). This leads to mass death of pests already in the first hours after treatment. The protective effect lasts up to 2-3 weeks.
According to the method of penetration, Actellik insecticide belongs to intestinal and contact pesticides. This means that the active substance penetrates through direct contact with the integument of the insect, as well as into the intestines when the pest eats the juices of the plant.

- limited compatibility in tank mixes;
- dangerous not only for humans, but also for bees.
Instructions for use of the drug Aktellik
Dilute Aktellik for spraying is quite simple. You need to act according to the following instructions:
- Wear gloves.
- Measure the required volume of the drug (it is not necessary to do this, since the standard ampoule volume is 2 ml per 2 liters of water).
- Dissolve first in a small amount of water and mix thoroughly.
- Bring to a total volume (2 l) and stir again.
- Pour into a spray bottle and start processing.
During the season, 1 – a maximum of two treatments are carried out. You need to work late in the evening, during sunset or after it. If the treatment is carried out in an open area, the weather should be dry and calm.
Actellik for grapes
For the treatment of grapes, Aktellik’s solution is used at a standard concentration of 2 ml per 2 liters. This amount is enough for 10 square meters of plantings, i.e. for 2-3 bushes. The number of sprays – no more than two per season.
Actellik for strawberries
For processing garden strawberries (strawberries), a standard concentration solution is used. At the same time, the consumption rate of Aktellik is slightly less and amounts to 1,5 liters per 10 m2 landings. Spraying is carried out 1-2 times per season. Berries are harvested after at least 20 days.
Actellik for dis
The rules for processing roses are the same as for strawberries. A solution of Aktellik is prepared in an amount of 2 ml per 2 liters and 10 square meters of plantings are treated with this volume. At the same time, you should try not to fall on the flowers, since many roses are sensitive to the action of water and may even stop blooming.
Actellik for currants
For spraying currant bushes, Actellik is used, and as an additional measure, watering with infusion of ash. A solution of standard concentration is used to treat landings, based on the ratio of 1,5 liters per 10 m2. The same consumption rate for raspberries and gooseberries.
Actellik for indoor flowers
For the treatment of indoor flowers, a liquid of 2 ml per 2 liters is used. This is enough for spraying conditionally 10 square meters of plantings. If necessary, the amount can be adjusted, for example, 1 ml per 1 liter per 5 square meters.
Therefore, after finishing the treatment, the room is thoroughly ventilated for several hours. Children and pets are excluded from access.
For ornamental and flower crops
For the treatment of ornamental plants, flowers in the open field, a solution of 2 ml per 2 liters is prepared and this volume is consumed per 10 m2. If flowers grow in a heifer, it is enough to take 1 liter per 10 m2.
For tomatoes and cucumbers
Actellik helps against such pests of tomatoes and cucumbers as thrips, mites, aphids of various species and many others. The consumption rate is the same – 2 liters per 10 m² of plantings for open beds and 1 liter per the same area for greenhouses. Harvesting begins at least 20 days later.
For cabbage
For spraying plantings of cabbage and carrots, 1 liter of Aktellik’s solution is consumed per 10 m² of plantings. In this case, the harvest can be harvested after at least 30 days.
For cherries and cherries
For these crops, the processing rules are the same as for currants, raspberries, gooseberries. The standard solution of Aktellik is consumed based on the norm of 1,5 liters per 10 square meters of plantings.
For peach
The consumption rate of the Aktellik solution for peach processing is from 2 to 5 liters, depending on the age of the tree, the spreading of the crown. The waiting period before harvesting is the longest in the case of peach and is 50 days.
Compatibility Actellik with other drugs
Insecticide Actellik is limited compatible with other pesticides. The active substance does not decompose only in “calm” solutions with a neutral reaction.
If the environment is aggressive (acidic or alkaline), Aktellik’s solution cannot be added to it. Chemical testing must first be carried out using indicator paper or a pH meter.
Hazard class of Actellik for humans

- Be sure to wear gloves, a mask, protective clothing (you can wear a bathrobe).
- Keep children and animals out of the area.
- Do not eat, drink, talk or smoke while handling.
- Avoid getting liquid on the skin, in the eyes, inside.
- If Aktellik’s solution is dropped on the body, wash with soap and rinse with plenty of water.
- In case of contact with the eyes, the mucous membranes are washed with a flowing jet.
- If the liquid has entered the stomach, it is necessary to chew 8-10 tablets of activated charcoal and drink them with a large volume of water. If abdominal pain and other symptoms do not improve, seek emergency medical attention.
- It is impossible to carry out processing in the water protection zone.
Long-term storage is not allowed. Therefore, the working solution is prepared in limited quantities – within the volume that can be used at a time.
