Acne on the chin: causes and treatment. Video

Acne causes depression in 35% of young people – this is the conclusion of American doctors. This is due to the fact that mainly acne appears on the face, and they immediately become visible. Acne can pop up anywhere, incl. and on the chin. Treatment is often quite ineffective, and scars can remain for life. To get rid of such a cosmetic defect, you need to understand the reasons for its occurrence.

With ugly rashes on the face at least once in a lifetime, but every person has encountered. Naturally, they do not add any special beauty and charm to the image. Therefore, the main efforts of the person who suffered from it are directed at combating such a defect. Women are especially fixated on fighting acne.

The pimples that appear on the chin are very unpleasant. They itch, do not allow normal touching of the face, etc. Plus, chin pimples look particularly messy, like you’ve eaten and left crumbs on your face. In any case, such acne must be dealt with. Moreover, the treatment must be comprehensive.

There are many reasons why a woman gets pimples on her chin.

The list includes:

  • overly active production of sebum

  • an increase in the number of pathogenic microorganisms in the hair follicle

  • blockage of the ducts of the sebaceous glands

  • rupture of the walls of the hair follicle

  • SARS

  • Наследственность

  • fluid retention in the body

  • oil pore contamination

  • mechanical injury (extrusion)

  • taking a number of medications, etc.

If you have chin breakouts, do not self-medicate right away. Better make an appointment with a competent beautician. He will determine the cause, and then the treatment will be more effective.

Too active production of sebum is due to a surge in the activity of the sex hormones androgens. This explains why adolescents mostly suffer from such a problem, because during puberty, hormones literally rage. It should be borne in mind that an increase in the level of hormones in adolescents is not caused by the hormones themselves, but by an increase in the body’s sensitivity to them. This may be due to hereditary factors. In adults, pimples on the chin signal exactly about problems with hormones, so you definitely need to visit an endocrinologist.

An increase in pathogens in the hair follicle is usually due to sebum stagnation in it. As a result, the active growth of bacteria begins, as a result of which inflammation develops.

The same mechanism of acne formation works in the case of a blockage of the sebaceous glands. If there is a rupture of the walls of the hair follicle, all of its contents, including fat, bacteria, etc. gets out onto the fabric. As a result of such a massive attack, large acne is formed, which is also often called subcutaneous tissue.

Even ordinary ARVI can cause acne on the face, and especially in the chin area. With hypothermia, small foci of inflammation appear throughout the body, which can respond anywhere and in any way.

Pimples on the chin resulting from ARVI can signal the onset of a female disease such as polycystic disease. Therefore, ladies are definitely recommended to undergo a gynecologist’s examination.

As for heredity, you need to look at the condition of the face of mom, dad, grandmother and other close relatives. If they have traces of acne, with a high degree of probability, such a defect will manifest itself in you too.

Acne can also appear if there is excess fluid in the body. This happens due to the fact that the ducts swell and block access to the gland of oxygen and other nutrients. In order not to clog the pores, you also need to very carefully select cosmetics. Avoid products that contain mineral oils. Their heavy structure easily blocks the ducts, resulting in easy and rapid inflammation.

As for medications, irrepressible and illiterate intake of vitamins, as well as various hormonal agents without consulting a doctor, easily leads to the appearance of acne on the chin.

In the case of squeezing acne, everything is extremely simple. The moment you start to press, you injure the skin. And bacteria get into these microtraumas. Therefore, if you are going to clean your face yourself, be sure to prepare for this procedure – sterilize your hands, trim your nails, take a napkin.

Acne on the face in women: which organ is out of order

If you have gone through puberty for a long time, but acne “crumbles” on your face until now, then you can delve into the reasons – it is believed that the localization of acne on the face can tell about which organ is not in order.

Pimples on the forehead: the forehead is a special area on the face, because if it pours out there, then this is not one modest pimple, but a whole scattering of pimples, reminiscent of a rash. If this problem has become frequent, then it is likely the cause is a malfunction. gastrointestinal tract… Seasonal exacerbation of gastritis or ulcers, or maybe you just switched to a new diet that is not suitable for you, or even forgot what PP (proper nutrition) is.

Pimples on the chin: if acne occurs regularly in the same area, on the chin, then the cause may be a malfunction of the genitourinary system. Acne appears on the chin before menstruation, when pregnancy occurs, when taking hormonal pills, or when “female” inflammation.

Acne around the mouth: talk about fatigue and lack of sleep, and also about disturbed emotional background, stress, nervousness.

Pimples on the cheeks: appear with problems with the lungs, mainly in smokers. Asthmatics also face acne on the cheeks.

Pimples on and around the nose: you eat too much spicy or sweet foods. Excess fat also affects the functioning of the circulatory system and the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract.

First, make an appointment with a doctor, only a specialist will be able to give you an adequate diagnosis. If it’s his turn, take first aid measures. First of all, establish your hygiene – thoroughly cleanse your face at least twice a day, change your makeup for healthier ones, etc. And do not panic – in general, it is recommended to treat pimples on the chin when they appear often and last for a long time.

Treatment must be comprehensive. Be prepared to go on a diet. After all, errors in nutrition, such as a passion for fatty and refined foods, alcohol abuse, etc., can also cause the development of such a defect.

Stop using scrubs and peels. Due to their scrubbing effect, they easily carry pathogenic bacteria over the face. So, having scrubbed the skin once, you run the risk of treating your face for a long time. In addition, the scrub visibly dries the skin.

Of the medicinal products, you will have to use ointments and creams with zinc. It has a drying effect and is able to quickly eliminate this cosmetic defect.

If the reason lies in hormonal shifts, you may be offered corrective therapy in the form of hormonal treatment. Do not be afraid of this option if a competent specialist will select the treatment for you.

Diversify your daily routine: add more walks, do not forget about good sleep, ventilate the room more often. Remember that all of this will help clear up acne in a fairly short time.

Complex treatment often gives very good results. If, despite all the efforts made, the acne does not go away or even, on the contrary, spreads even more across the face, consult a doctor. The priority list should include a gastroenterologist, an endocrinologist and a gynecologist.

What to do if chin acne persists

Acne may not go away for weeks or even months. And in some cases, cosmetologists are powerless, their procedures and prescribed ointments do not help. Then you should go from the beauty salon to the hospital, take a blood test. In this case, it will be indicative not only and not so much a general blood test as a blood test for biochemistry.

This type of diagnosis will show not only whether there is a malfunction in the hormonal system, it will tell whether the circulatory system is normal, whether there are diseases of the thyroid gland, stomach, intestines. The doctor should decipher the results of a biochemical blood test, only he will tell you which organ is out of order, and whether this failure could affect the appearance of acne.

Blood transfusion for acne on the face

Acne has four degrees of severity, the first is the easiest option, the patient responds well to treatment, and it is possible to reduce the number of rashes. The third and fourth stages occur when a person’s immune system is unable to inhibit the growth of bacteria on its own. Conservative treatment with zinc creams alone will not help. In this case, “heavy artillery” is used – blood, or rather transfusion.

The procedure is called “Autohemotherapy”, it is prescribed when everything else has already been tried, and acne has become no less. Why is this method not immediately prescribed to everyone who came with acne to a dermatologist? Because the method does not give a 100 percent guarantee, on average, autohemotherapy helps only 80 percent of patients. There is a large list of contraindications and side effects.

Acne and intimate life

This relationship was invented a long time ago, hence the “wise” advice of neighbors’ aunts to pimply teenagers, they say, if you get married / find a girl, acne will go away by itself. What such indelicate ladies are hinting at is clear from the faces of adolescents who are red with embarrassment. But doctors shrug their shoulders, not understanding where the myth came from that lack of sex causes acne.

Lull in personal life is not the cause of the appearance of rashes on the face. Although the theory could be indirectly explained – regular sex life normalizes hormones, and if everything is fine with hormones, then the face is clean. In fact, there are nuances: acne can occur not only because of hormones, but because of a cold, an unsuitable cream, a violation of hygiene rules. And most importantly – regular intimacy, but with different partners, can “add” acne on the face, as the microflora of the pelvic organs is disturbed. But acne on unprotected contact is the least possible problem, given the risk of sexually transmitted diseases and HIV.

Pimples on the chin folk signs

Our ancestors believed that pimples on the chin promise a lonely girl a meeting with her lover. And if a pimple appeared in a pregnant woman, then the grandmothers advised her to prepare for the birth of her son. Now, it’s over, they believe more ultrasound. But the omen has not gone anywhere. There are women who are trying to find out the sex of the unborn child by various “bells” before it becomes possible with the diagnostician – many are not told the sex of the fetus at the first ultrasound.

– A rash on the skin is always a sign of malfunctioning in the body. If it appears on the forehead, it may appear due to an allergic reaction or indicate an incorrect functioning of the gastrointestinal tract. It is worth checking for dysbiosis, ulcers, colitis or gastritis. A rash on the chin can signal pathologies in the field of gynecology. This is due to hormonal disruptions that lead to an increase in the amount of subcutaneous fat, which clogs the pores. What to do: visit a gynecologist and endocrinologist, get tested for microflora and hormones.
