Characteristics of the ACC 600 optima
ACC 600 optima is a prescription drug available in a pharmacy that has an expectorant effect. ACC 600 is used to thin the secretions in the respiratory tract in the case of cold-induced bronchitis. ACC 600 are effervescent, white, round tablets. One ACC 600 optima effervescent tablet contains 600 g of the active substance, which is acetylcysteine. The auxiliary ingredients in one ACC 600 tablet are 150 mg of lactose and 120 mg of sodium. The medicine is sold in a paper box containing 10 ACC 600 tablets. ACC 600 should be used according to the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor. The drug should be taken after a meal no later than 4 hours before bedtime due to the possibility of difficulties in coughing up the thin discharge during sleep. In the case of adults and adolescents over 14 years of age, one tablet of ACC 600 optima dissolved in water should be drunk a day. The drug should not be given to children under 14 years of age, and in other cases, ACC 600 should not be used for longer than 4 to 5 days. ACC 600 optima should be stored in a tightly closed container, out of the sight and reach of children.

ACC 600 optima is a drug used for a short time to thin the secretions in the respiratory tract. ACC 600, thanks to the content of acetylcysteine, which is a derivative of the amino acid cysteine, facilitates expectoration by reducing the viscosity of bronchial secretions. Acetylcysteine increases the mucus secretion in the respiratory tract, thereby liquefying the remaining secretion, facilitating its expectoration. ACC 600 optima is a drug that helps to clear the respiratory tract, facilitates expectoration, supporting the natural cough reflex. ACC 600 can also be used in case of paracetamol poisoning.
Side effects that may occur after using ACC 600 optima
The use of ACC 600 optima may cause undesirable effects which may not occur in every person. People who have a history of bronchial asthma or peptic ulcer disease, or are suffering from respiratory failure, and the elderly should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking ACC 600. Side effects that may occur uncommonly are allergic reactions, headache, tinnitus, increased heart rate, low blood pressure, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, hives, rash, itching and fever. Side effects such as indigestion, dyspnoea, bronchospasm, facial edema, and anaphylactic shock may occur much less frequently. Overdosage of ACC 600 optima may cause gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. ACC 600 should not be used concurrently with antitussive drugs, as this may result in a weakening of the cough reflex, making it difficult to cough up the remaining secretions in the respiratory tract.
