The history of the company began when the wife of the Consul of the Kingdom of Sardinia, Girolamo Luxardo in the Kingdom of Dalmatia, became interested in making homemade liqueurs. The first connoisseurs of these drinks were regular guests, who especially liked maraschino cherry liqueur. After such success in the manufacture of alcoholic beverages, the couple decided to open their own production.
This is how the Luxardo distillery was born, whose products are now popular in more than 70 countries around the world.

The taste is unique, it is characterized by softness, spice and purity, created by the prevalence of notes of wormwood and anise. Refreshing minty aftertaste is somewhat rounded.
