Brand History

Initially, it was the production of drinks with medicinal properties: they collected and distilled medicinal plants that grew on Mount Lure.

The merchants who traded in such work in the XNUMXth and XNUMXth centuries acted as something like modern pharmacists.

But over time, technology changed and by the end of the XNUMXth century, some of the “pharmacists” became distillers – they began the production of cleansing, tonic and digestive alcoholic beverages with refreshing properties.

Wine and alcohol, maceration and distillation were used to extract and preserve plant aromas and active substances.

Distilleries and Domaines de Provence have kept this experience to this day and continue to make traditional drinks.
