PSYchology

You already know a lot: you have taken on the feeling of a leader, you have learned to evoke a warm and open attitude towards people, to keep a strong and authoritative look. If it is important for you to learn how to tightly hold the attention of not one person, but several people or an entire audience, practice as a separate exercise — the ability to hold space.

Each of us has our own circle of attention, and it can both narrow and expand. First, narrow your circle of attention to the palm of your right hand. You only feel it. Now you have inserted both of your palms into the circle of your attention, the circle of attention has expanded, and you feel the volume, density and strength of both your palms. Move your fingers, feel each finger… Now include your whole body in the circle of attention, feel it from the tips of your toes… heels standing on the floor… through your knees, stomach… to your chest, shoulders, arms… rise to your head… keep all this volume in a ball attention.

Now look around you and include in your circle of attention all the things and all the people around you — within a radius, for example, up to five meters.

Now start talking. What you say is not important, it is important to keep everyone and everyone with your attention. so that not a single object and not a single person falls out of your attention. Keep center, keep right, keep left. Someone is distracted, trying to escape from your speech — turn your head towards him, stretch out your hands to him, mention him in your speech — and he will stay with you. To make it easier to keep the audience, highlight the main people in it and track their attention first.

It is also convenient to divide the audience into three parts: center, left and right wing, and each of these parts to keep different resources, and you can alternately. For example, now keep your eyes on the center, with your outstretched right hand — people to your right, and the left ones — oh, lost. We turned around, pulled them up to us — and again rushed to conquer the center.
