Laura Hall, a British woman, has had problems with weight all her adult life. Either she successfully lost weight, then she got fat again, and the arrow on the scales bounced like a yo-yo ball. At 21, Laura switched to size L – in our opinion, it is 48-50.
Having become a little older, the woman took up proper nutrition. However, as soon as Laura got a job with the police, the weight flew up again. There was not enough time for normal food. Therefore, more and more often in the diet were sandwiches, cakes and junk food to go.
Then Laura decided to go to the gym. This helped: her body regained the desired volumes, but not for long. Having met her future husband, Laura relaxed, so much so that she plumped up to XXXL – size 58.
This time, the woman turned to a nutritionist for help. And when the beloved called to get married, the motivation became even stronger: I really wanted to be a beauty at the wedding and fit into that very perfect dress. Laura started jogging, practicing 5-6 times a week. So in a year I lost 8 sizes.
At the wedding, the bride shone. But the happiness was short-lived. Over the next year, Laura experienced two miscarriages. Therefore, when the woman became pregnant again, I had to forget about training. The expectant mother was afraid that even minimal physical activity could harm the baby, and the doctors did not advise to go in for sports.
In addition, due to toxicosis, many habitual healthy products were asked to go out.
“Gradually I returned to my old habits. She ate only sandwiches and cookies, ”says Laura.
So during pregnancy, the woman gained 38 kg.
Laura recalls: after giving birth, she felt terribly depressed and insecure. The woman again began to lose weight, and this time her father became a big support, who decided to lose 16 kg.
“It helped me a lot. We really spurred each other on, ”says Laura.
The young mother could not immediately return to training after giving birth. So I started with long walks with a stroller. When she got stronger, she began to run in the company of her father.
And how lucky Laura was with her husband! To help his wife, he began to cook healthy food, figured out how to replace Laura’s favorite dishes with healthier options. For example, I used yogurt and cottage cheese instead of fatty creams. And I cooked on low-calorie frying sprays instead of vegetable oil. The couple included more vegetables in the diet, and replaced the fatty meat with a more dietary one.
So the extra pounds began to melt, and in 8 months Laura regained her previous forms.
A year later, the woman became pregnant again. But this time she promised herself that she would carefully monitor her diet. As a result, over the entire pregnancy, she gained only 7 kg and within eight weeks after giving birth she returned to her previous size.
“The food we eat is prepared in a healthier way, but it’s still delicious, so I don’t feel like I’m on a diet or limiting myself. It’s just a healthy lifestyle, ”says the mother of two.
