A trip to the sea: what medicines to take

Car sick in transport

If you get seasick on an airplane, car, or on a boat trip, stock up on medication. Remedies for motion sickness are homeopathic and medicinal. The latter are more effective, but in this case, carefully read the instructions – there may be contraindications. Most importantly, take the pill early to give it time to take effect. If there are no such medicines at hand, take validol or peppermint lozenges, they relieve the feeling of nausea.

Corns

Untouched corn wipe with lotion with alcohol, and sprinkle the broken one with a crushed antibiotic tablet. And then cover with a plaster. This will speed up the healing process and prevent bacteria from entering the wound. If you are traveling with new shoes, dust your skin with talcum powder before putting them on. It will reduce friction and absorb excess sweat. Or, pre-stick the patches on the places that start to chafe the skin.

Scratches and sprains

In these cases, an elastic bandage and any ointment or gel will come in handy. against bruises and sprains. Hydrogen peroxide will help disinfect the wound. Store a bactericidal patch in your medicine cabinet – for flayed knees and minor scratches. You can grab the syringe needles (in the package), they will help remove a splinter or a thorn of a sea urchin (if you can not seek professional help).

Common cold

If you feel that you are starting to get sick (throat reddened, weakness appeared, fever rose), take an antipyretic containing paracetamol. Calcium also helps increase tissue resistance to infection and can significantly speed recovery. At first signs of a cold you can take a couple of calcium gluconate tablets (be sure to check the possible contraindications).

And also take care of your digestion and skin!
