A touching story about a dog that fell from the sky

Moreover, it turned out to be a very rare breed.

The world is full of surprises. And some, like this fluffy little one, can fall straight out of the sky. The usual morning of a common family from Warington, a city in northeastern Australia, was broken by a strange whimpering in the backyard. When the family members went out to see what happened, they found a small and unusual puppy there.

They decided that the baby was simply lost, but when no one came for him during the day, it became clear that a new family member had appeared in their house. The puppy was named Wandy and was taken to veterinarian Rebecca Day, who works in a nearby town called Bright, for examination. She noticed strange scratches on the back of the animal and assumed that they were left by a bird of prey. “We’ve seen them take away lambs or little dogs more than once,” said the veterinarian. Apparently, the feathered predator dragged this baby to himself for lunch, but he escaped from his tenacious claws and landed right in the backyard in Warington. But that was not the end of the surprises for the family who found Wandy.

At first, everyone considered him an ordinary puppy. But when the photos of the animal were seen by representatives of the Dingo Discovery Foundation, they rushed to contact the owners of the foundling. They persuaded him to send his genetic sample to the University of New South Wales. And the results of the DNA test were quite unexpected.

The puppy turned out to be a purebred dingo. Alas, in nature, these natives of Australia have become less and less common. Dingoes are now on the verge of extinction due to illegal hunting and disturbance to their natural habitat.

The fluffy lucky man already has a social media account. And in a fairly short time, more than 40 thousand users have subscribed to it. The luck of this lucky guy is still surprised in the comments:

Awesome! After all, dingoes are threatened not only by people, but also by stray dogs that unite in flocks.

About this dog just right to shoot a movie: “Dingo: Unchained.”

100% good boy.
